I know 20/20 is hindsight and all, but that Memphis QB should have just taken the sack. They had a couple of downs left. There was no need to panic throw.
You sound mad, bro.
It's possible, nobody knows for sure.Best up an coming coach who can’t clear an SEC background check.
Strong post. It's possible, nobody knows for sure.
Then again with TN running all over the place, none of us know if he said not interested from the go.
UF was zoned in on Chip, interested in Frost right down the road. And Scott got his guy Dan.
Ole Miss basically made contact with nobody.
A&M went after the experienced coach with a title. Smart move.
MSU got their first guy they truly targeted.
Arkansas is going balls to wall for Gus. If that doesn't work, watch em go for Norvell.
Az State AD wanted Herm from the jump.
So besides UT...which isn't really a top destination place folks from Memphis care to flock to contrary to popular belief...what SEC team hasn't got their top target or #2? Not UF, not aTm, not MSU, not Ole Miss...so who?
Like I said it could be something but so far most schools have got the guy they wanted or went after.
Like I've said for a while. I love both of these coaches...but Dan Mullen could have done the same at UCF, Memphis, Houston, and probably Cincinnati.About what?
You obviously have a thing for this style of play and it highly impresses you.
You think Mullen is some sort of offensive idiot because he only averages 30+ points a game against defenses filled with NFL talent.
You’re obviously the one with a problem. You’ve been acting like a fool for weeks now.
Like I've said for a while. I love both of these coaches...but Dan Mullen could have done the same at UCF, Memphis, Houston, and probably Cincinnati.
62 -55 UCF. In 2nd OT. What's the record for combined points in a game?
Without a doubt. Stricklin knows Mullen well. Mullen knows UF/Gainesville well. Mullen knows the SEC well. And after the Mac debacle, Mullen was the safer hire. Can’t fault Stricklin for that

The (fake news) highest rated offenses, always come from teams that don't have to play 8-9 SEC defenses.
2008 Choke-la-homa averaged and NCAA Season Record 54 Pts/Gm.
Then they played the SEC's #3 Defense and scored 14 Pts while losing the NC game.![]()
100% agree.
It’s ridiculous and ignorant to pretend that their offenses translate to the major conferences, especially the SEC.
