I predict a buffet of offense in this one. UCF already up 7 - 0 from 1st drive. I much prefer these two offenses over that slow grinding style Mullen will bring us.

And Memphis answers. 10 - 7 UCF. Some really good play calling from Norvell. I'd kill to see the Gators run either of these offenses.
Aaaaaaand here comes UCF to answer. 17 - 10. UCF has one of the best QB's in college FB right now. He's not physically impressive but he's so smart and accurate with the ball.
I wish Mullen would watch this game. He could learn how to safely run his QB's. After watching some Miss State games recently, I don't like how he sends his QB's in there to get killed. Watch how Frost and Norvell using their QB's in the run game. They aren't asked to be fullbacks like Mullen wants his QB's to be. And yet the get big chunks of yardage when they do run.
And Memphis answers. Took only about 1 minute and 5 plays. Great play call selection and design.

UCF stops Memphis on a drive. I blame the QB for that. He took a sack he should not have. It looks like this could be fatal for them because they cannot stop the juggernaut that is UCF's offense.
My feed went down and when it came back up Memphis had just scored. Must have been a turnover. 24 - 21 UCF. If Norvell wins this game he's the best up and coming coach in the country in my opinion.

I love these two coaches. I love this game. However I don't understand this post and how he is trying to down Dan Mullen.
Neither of these teams would beat LSU or hang with Bama. Mullen led squad did.

Holy Cal. Memphis goes Wildcat, then a reverse with a pass to the QB. Didn't work, but I love the moxy of Norvell giving that a try.
Memphis comes us short, has to settle for a FG, but I loved what they tried there. I even loved that they started the half with an onside FG. I'm so bored of the conservative, afraid to lose approach we've seen for 7 straight years. Good job, Norvell.

The shootout continues! After Memphis blew their FG, UCF marched down the field with ease, but came away with only a FG. Looked like that capped it, but about 4 plays later Memphis scores off a 61 yard run. Game on.
