Finally! I've pretty much stopped visiting this board with any regularity over the past few years, mostly because the lack of even a modicum of moderation stripped most of what made this board fun back in the day. I still lurk time to time to see what the regulars are up to, but that's been mostly it.
I'm still amazed this place didn't turn into the ch!tshow that the HROT became about eight or nine years ago, but I chalk it up to most of the (honestly pretty decent) regular contributers doing a pretty good job of policing themselves and others (having no real power apart from shaming those who stepped over the line).
I think Paco will be a good mod. Level-headed, fair, and has been around long enough to know how good this board can be when it's at its best. Congrats and good luck @PacoGator19
