I'm pretty sure the Bama offense under Mac was very good.

Did you not remember that 2009 SEC Championship game?

Pretty impossible to be bad with those weapons, especially the hulks at RB and that even better OL.. Julio out wide with big TE's... can't really judge an OC off of that roster, unless they suck, like nuss did a lot of that 2012 season and got them beat against A&M with the play calling... That looked exactly like when we had the ball inside bama's one on goal line in the SECC game, like when they had the ball at the end to STILL be able to win that A&M game after all those video game streak bombs they kept throwing to Cooper before it... But then they threw the ball like 4 times and lost on the INT on 4th down...

Maybe we are due for the national championship this year. Bama in 08 (Saban's 2nd year - Mac the OC) only averaged 171 yards passing a game and lost in the SECCG. Mac in his 2nd year here averaged 215 yards a game passing and lost in the SECCG so Mac may be ahead of schedule with the passing game.

So, incompetent Mc would need to have hired Cow-Chip's assistants for him, for him to have a chance..... Interesting (not really)

The show just never ends here....

Wait, the head moron has just jumped in to straighten it all out between them... :D

So you disagree with me? Or him?

Decision has been made, that coaching staff knows, I don't know which staff/school it is, expect an announcement within the next 7-10 days, could be much sooner.

If we get drubbed by Michigan he will begin to feel some pressure. I also agree the likelihood is he makes it to '18. But if we don't field an offense and compete with FSU, you are moronic to think he isn't coaching for his job in '18.

And no one, other than Meyer, Saban or Harbaugh is anyone's guy 'for the long haul'. It doesn't work that way, you are constantly having to coach for your job.

Good to see you have come around a bit. You were ready to can him after last season and did not think he had a chance to last beyond '17

Throw in Fisher and Swinney with Meyer, Saban, and possibly Harbaugh. Harbaugh still needs to put his money where his mouth has been. Fisher and Swinney aren't going anywhere despite a down year or two. Regardless, their teams are stacked for the long haul so their security is good for the next few...

1. Can he produce an offense

2. Can he beat the top teams

3. Can he beat FSU

Those are the questions be needs to answer.

If he goes out and lays an egg against Michigan, if he can't compete with FSU, then the end will be in sight. If he can't put an offense on the field he becomes a lame duck in '18.
