Found not guilty of all four counts. Jury deliberated for only two hours. The attorney for the defense was our very own Spaceheater. :). EDit JC Jackson. I don't know how to edit titles.

Space ghost coast to coast in Florida.

Sneaky bastard.

Won't represent Grier though. Not a fan.

(And I know he reads this board).

Joke case for the state to even go to trial with if the other perp wasn't ever located. Not sure if he ever was or not.

As I wrote on the other thread, the guy was charged, tried and acquitted. No reason not to let him be a UF student again and no reason not to let him back on the team. A few have expressed some concerns about that view with the admonition, "go read the trial transcript."

Ok, for those of you the feel that way, by all means, enlighten us.

Was it only due to not finding the perp who actually physically committed the crime? Like I said before surprised the state went as far as a trial if that was the case.If it is he certainly shouldn't be on the team.

Stirring the pot, so to speak....

Which is worse, not charged on a (pot) technicality,
OR
Charges dropped by the apparent victim with the option to bring them back at a later date,
OR
Found not guilty on all four counts by a jury. o_O

Do we still find JC guilty in the court of public opinion and punish him anyway?
OR
Do you let the jury verdict stand and return him to good standing?

And if we are going to find JC guilty, then what about those others with pot in the car that they are speeding around campus in, with no drivers license, and then later accused (then dropped) of at least date-rape?

Serious Questions - Fairness Issues - Who gets to Judge? o_O

Stickey, stickey, stickey.....

Has Jimbo already signed him? I think that would be a good indicator if he is guilty or not.
