It is time Tennessee

If you know so much about "how things work", then please advise the Tennessee athletic department on how to become relevant again, and not waste time here. The only thing we're entitled to is kicking your arse.

Relevant?

How many marquee matchups have you played this year?

How many 3 stars can you take in one class?

You guys don't realize the hole you must now climb out of - you very well may beat the Vols, but that does nothing to help the culture change that must occur at your program. Muschamp set you back two years.

How well Swamp Donk can play catchup will tell the tale.

It took CBJ one year to close the gap on Oklahoma. Back to back top 5 classes will do that to you.

But no worries, if UT wins Saturday, feel free to come back here and tell us it only took 10 years for your program to close the gap.

This is a statement game for both programs...we need this win big time. Defense will show up...if the offense plays better and we win the turnover game then we win...if not then we lose.

We may end up really regretting not having Treon available to play in this game.
Treon won it for us last year, as Driskel melted down. However, if Grier is not the QB of our now and of our future, we will know it Saturday. The game might not tell us that he is that guy, much like what happened in the UK game, but it will probably tell us if he is not.

It possibly could. I think we will learn a lot with this being his 4th game (and at home) and how he reacts to the pressure if things aren't going great at first.

If Grier doesn't take it then it needs to go to Treon. I think Grier has responded to mistakes well but we need more consistency.

I really hope this is our break out game or our offense is going to have a long year again.

I am not sure it is realistic to expect this game to be a break out game for the offense. That offense is who we thought they might be; very inconsistent and young offensive line and a new, inexperienced QB.

We can hope for an offense that is capable of scoring just enough points to win, especially with our very good defense.

Agreed...it always seems like the best QB is always the guy behind the starter. Don't expect fireworks...our O Line is going to get worked...there are going to be mistakes by the QB and O Line...our offensive production is going to do more with how the line plays IMO.

Our oline may get worked every game. But UT's just might get worked even more. There is nothing that scares me about this bunch of assclowns. Nothing.
