They control main stream media, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, NY Times, Wash Post, LA Times and many other newspapers around the country. When people cannot get absolute truth, that's how you lose a free republic.

They control social media which is where so many people get their "news". We now have censorship taking place on those platforms where those organizations decide what is acceptable or not. Funny thing that it always favors the left.

The left controls academia big time. Our colleges and universites are heavily dominated by left wing professors. You can count on one hand the number of conservatives invited to speak at a commencement and if they are, there's an uprising by the students to cancel them. Where did the students learn that? The left controls the teachers unions in public schools and this country spends zillions on education and what do we have. We have lists that show the United States is 30th or 40th in educational achievement compared to other countries. We really have a dumbed down society.

And now the left controls border security which is zero and this open border policy is simply another word for voter registration for democrats.

So with all of this, why wouldn't the democrats just continue to win election after election?

I guess you could say that when these democrat policies lead to inflation, high unemployment, lower wages, high crime among other things, people would be smart to vote them out, but would they?

I think we've been there for a while.

It started in 2008 with people voting for a skin color. Now, I do live in very heavily democratic MD, but just about everyone I know (all cultural and ethnic backgrounds - I really hate using a color to describe people) simply voted for Obama based on the color of his skin.
