Timing of this seems so bizarre considering Stricklin just states he is keeping Napier, for at least the rest of this season.

It's hard to believe an adult would do those things. Seems like he would be begging to get caught.

He was and apparently did. If you read the alligator article it’s crazy.

Reminds me of the Deshawn Watson stuff. Makes no sense. These guys could obviously get a girl whenever they want. They’re just sick puppies.

Since The Alligator is the bastion of journalistic integrity and ethical morality, like the rest of our media, what they report is 100% true, right??!! :)

I actually have more faith in the alligator than I do establishment media. They broke all the Ben Saase stuff. Anyway the title 9 complaint is now public and it matches what is being reported.

Maybe there’s some context that explains all this, but he should have been suspended pending investigation at minimum. Complaint was filed in September.

Now everyone’s going to get fired, which is a positive.

Until the allegations are actually proven and heads roll, I will remain a skeptic and doubter. Innocent until PROVEN guilty is what our country stands for, or at least it used to.

Nobody’s saying he should be thrown in jail, but with allegations this serious, suspending him with pay pending investigation is a no brainer. Do they not have lawyers in the UA? He’s accused by multiple UF students of STALKING them and sending them pictures of his d**k, and you’re going to let him keep coaching on campus? Idiocy. Not to mention the school looks like a total joke. This is the highest ranked public university in the country and these jackasses are making it look like an outtake from Porkies.

This is almost the same exact schitt I at least accused Mizzou of back when they covered up a rape incident involving multiple football players and a female on the swim team, who eventually committed suicide under Gary Pinkel's watch.

I mean it’s true that coaches have survived uglier stuff than this. James Franklin for instance. But in those cases it was players doing it, and the question was whether the coaches did anything about it. Here the coach is the principal accused.

Best case I can think of is he was carrying on consensually with the accusers who then got pissed off and filed the complaint. Still pretty messy but better than him chasing sorority girls around campus in a raincoat. lol.

Oh man, within days Gators administration commits to the crappy coach and now will have to get rid of the good coach? Ugh, it's been a rough past decade.

Could be that he was hacked and set up. Nobody on this board knows the actual facts. It's all speculation based on allegations and too many in this country are in a hurry to rush to judgment. I won't do it. It may turn out that he did these things and, if so, he should suffer the appropriate consequences. But until all the facts come out, I remain skeptical.

It could be. I’m not saying he’s guilty. I’m just saying school should have suspended him pending investigation. You can’t just let him stroll around campus with allegations like this. This is like HR 101.

Stricklin himself should have addressed this the moment it happened yet he kept quiet about it for almost two months. If Kent Fuchs knew about this as well, he should be gone sooner than the rest involved.

If true how can you be that dumb especially in his position. Heck just pay for some higher end hooker for the night.
I mean he’s rich and thin has all his hair and spends half his time on the road. He should be able to get laid as easy as falling sideways. Maybe he was worried about getting found out (apparently he’s married 👀) but I don’t think this scheme was the answer.

He's married with young kids. I mean, he's not exactly the coach at a D3 school, and depending on the kind of season we all hoped his team would have, there's a chance he'd be one of the highest paid hoops coaches in the nation. Perhaps restore the greatness that Donovan created in Gainesville.

To add, Golden has been getting so much attention for the job he's done in Gainesville.

What made him think he could post penile pics and it not go unnoticed? I just can't imagine putting my family thru this.
