If Todd Golden is fired, so should Stricklin

It could be. I’m not saying he’s guilty. I’m just saying school should have suspended him pending investigation. You can’t just let him stroll around campus with allegations like this. This is like HR 101.
How can you take that position without knowing ALL the facts? What if they have information that the allegations are bogus, but can't comment due to the Federal aspects of the case. You don't just suspend anybody in any position based simply on a complain or allegations. Once again, you, nor I nor anyone on this board knows the facts. So I don't understand how anyone can jump to suspending him pending investigation based on the very limited information that we have. How do you know there hasn't been an ongoing investigation and nothing has come out yet to support the allegations?

If all of this was bogus, then Golden and Stricklin would have put this incident to bed. Just several hours ago, every national news outlet is covering this and the hits just keep coming.

Can anyone fire Fuchs or would it take the Governor acting?
I believe this guy and I don't think Bernie Machen will want to serve as an interim.

Complainants swore an affidavit to a complaint and talked to the alligator in support of it, so that’s not nothing. If there’s a good explanation, UF should probably come out with it. Or if they can’t, say they can’t.

This is starting to feel like the year Don Devoe came in as an interim and Fuched our season. Then again, Norm Sloan started that downfall.

Like you’ve got the national media reporting your coach was sending pictures of his d**k to undergrads. It’s being reported everywhere. And the response from the UA is… crickets. Not even an announcement that the AD will make a statement. Total amateur hour. Regardless of whether the charges are as bad as they sound.

Say: we’re aware; we’re serious about it; we’ve been investigating it; we’ll give a statement as soon as possible. Total silence sounds like you’re panicking.

Bradley, did they suspend Trump on how many accusations? Mr. H.R.? Didn’t your sig used to be a Pedophile?

sadgator is kinda with ocala on this one. It just seems too outrageous to be true. In sadgator’s line of experience, he has seen countless number of administrative complaints that are completely bogus. If UF has vetted it and believes it is BS, that might explain why they haven’t suspended him or addressed it.

Now they will have to.

That being said, if true, apparently nobody has told Golden about Pornhub…

This is the third set of serious allegations against a head coach during athletic director Scott Stricklin's eight-year tenure.

I want Stricklin to be replaced as bad as the next guy, but allegations are just that - Nothing has been proven. Golden should be given the benefit of the doubt until all the FACTS are known.

Decent amount of speculation that this was leaked to ruin Stricklin after giving Napier the attaboy.
That's what I was thinking. Comes out a day after Stricklin commits to Napier. Perhaps Boosters operatives had dirt ready to get rid of Stricklin and then maybe say see ya Billy Bozo, haha. There's enough allegations across sports teams in recent years to axe Stricklin. Sully and Holloway are only good coaches and both were hired by Foley, the rest of the coaches are Stricklin.

The article states,

“In order to comply with federal law, UF can’t comment on or confirm any Title IX inquiries.”

Not sure they can even say they can’t acknowledge it.

So let me get this straight. Golden is a young, good looking guy with millions of $$ and he has to stalk young women? Got it.

Yeah that does appear to be the case. Looks like the only reason it’s public is because the complaint is a public record. Crappy situation for UF they can’t even address it.

Then again, Stricklin should ease the tension, come out and say this matter is being handled, like yesterday. There's a chance I'm wrong about Golden, but the whole day of silence is very disturbing, especially since the is the third incident with not one, not two, but 3 coaches under his watch. Cam Nuwbauer the women's former coach along with former soccer coach Tony Amato.

This is just simple lack of institutional control and it's not the first time under Stricklin.

And the unsubstantiated death threats by McElwain.

sadgator is not at all victim shaming, but the more sadgator considers the comments made by the alleged victims, the more suspect regarding this matter he becomes…
Oh, so perhaps it's a win-win for everybody. Win for the alleged complainants because they weren't victims and win for Gators everywhere because these girls were Boosters operatives used to get rid of Stricklin and ergo Billy Bozo, ahhh yes, one can hope, haha.
