I don’t think so but I could be wrong. It was 17-3 midway through 3rd quarter. Defense held as long as they could with no help from offense.

We lost our starting QB and utilized a kid who had not played since HS for backup. AND we were a one dimensional team. Now who achieved MORE with less quality chess pieces to play?

At one point LSU was up 34-3 on UGA. That game wasn’t even competitive.
I don't recall any Gators chirping about national titles. The dawg fans invaded this board talking title and kirby was greatest coach on the planet...well we are still waiting for that natty.
Well the beauty of this is that Kirby isn’t going anywhere and we feel that he will get us a natty soon. The guy has been a head coach for all of 4 years. I challenge you to find someone as successful as him in their first 4 years as a head coach.

You had Justin Fields If you wanted to run RPO and you didn’t do anything with him and then you recruited Carson Beck who isn’t a fit for an RPO offense. Maybe your OC has no idea what he wants to do, which is probably accurate considering Coley isn’t a good QB coach or OC.

We're the only team in the SEC East with a pulse. In year two of a rebuilding with a backup qb. We overachieved yet again this year, and you under achieved.

Kirby has a soft spot for Fromm and Fields didn’t do enough to beat him out in our offense. Fields at Ohio State is money. I’m just glad he didn’t go to Florida, because he would be money at Florida too.
Well Larry Coker in his first 4 years lost a total of 6 games and won a national title. And yes Coker wasn’t very good.
Time will tell but Kirby might have already missed his window. I know y'all will think that is wishful thinking but UGA was better than Bama in 2017 and 2018 and blew both chances. Coaching mistakes lost both games and those chances aren't easy to come by.
Fast forward to 2019 and a lot of people close to your program was calling this team arguably your most talented ever. You have two offensive tackles that might go in the first round and your offensive line was getting praised as one of the best college football had seen in some time, Swift and Fromm were getting hype as Heisman candidates, and you had a stacked defense. That got you a loss at home to a 4-8 team, close wins that could have gone either way against ND, UF, Auburn, and A&M, and blown out in what was basically a home game for you vs. LSU. It's not getting any easier with teams like LSU, UF, and Tennessee on the come up. And now you're losing valuable assistants which are always hard to replace. Y'all will point to recruiting classes as proof you're gonna stay in the hunt but talent isn't your problem even now.
Kirby likely missed his window IMO. He may have already had his most talented team. We were told this year that this UGA team was one of the most talented teams they have ever had. Yes I’m going to say it again as long as Coley is the QB coach and OC UGA isn’t going to be winning any championships.
