I posted last night that Tampa/St Pete dodged a bullet, and they did. Had a negative tide during the storm. If that storm does not shift south before it hit land, and it goes up Tampa Bay...it would have been so much worse for Florida. Not saying that it was not a real storm by any means...however I think it was not as strong as they said it was...which pisses me off when I get lied to because they think they know better what info I need to hear more than the truth.

I said the same thing elsewhere. Ft Meyers and Sarasota probably got hammered. I know Lakeland did. Nothing in Jax or the Big Bend area, but Helena left it's mark on us there and still repairing damage from that. No storm surge at all on our gulf place, we already got our share from Debbie and Helena. Orlando and the cape area on the east coast took a bit of a whooping from rain and wind.

Sunny and beautiful in FWB. Really hurting for the people and what they are going through. Have been there many times. Seems the only good luck if you can call it that is having DeSantis as Governor. He has his chit together, and I think things will be closer back to normal FASTER with him in charge. Imagine if a F'n lefty was in charge??

We are fine in Weeki Wachee. I have 35 tall palm trees in my yard and palm fronds scattered all over the property. I have been putting them in piles today and have a truck load loaded up. I imagine I have at least 4 more loads. Thankfully the recycle place is free to county residents.

We did not have any damage to the house and no water issues. The power went out at 10:30 and came back on when I was waking up. Blessed.

Gillam and Crist would have FEMA giving out free butt plugs.😂

I put seven palm fronds out at the curb.

It's still scary how close Gillam came to being elected.
Goes to show you just how retarded a healthy portion of the population is. Hell. Not only do illegals need deporting, a healthy portion of Democrat imbeciles should lead them out when it's time to go. Venezuela awaits them all.
