Bumps stocks, as you said, are only useful for shooting at a range like an idiot. They might help a novice to throw more rounds down range but who knows where they'll end up.

An experienced shooter can fire just as quickly, though much more accurately, without one.

The new ban from the ATF is the pistol grip. It will get destroyed by the SCOTUS soon enough.

I can't recall if it applies to FFL purchases or all purchases. I bought my first long gun when I was 18 from Sappy in Gainesville. I bought my first pistol when I was 19 from a Lance Corporal because back then you could own a pistol at 18 but not buy one from an FFL dealer. That's stupid.

It will be old news probably some months from now but I know that nearly 1/2 of DeSantis supporters who had Trump as their 2nd choice are starting to come back into the fold. Team DeSantis influencers on social media gave that away by pleading for Trump supporters to back off because it was hurting our general election chances.
