No, my theory is there are not enough moderates to get Biden to 81MM votes. There are not enough people motivated by hate and animus to swing to the other side and vote for a lifelong swamp rat who didn't even campaign (and when he did it was a total disaster) left over after Trump's total. So your theory is that there are no moderates or conservatives who 'hate' Trump? The only people who 'hate' Trump are democrat voters?
That is not what I've seen in my circle. I know a number of reliable republican voters who voted Biden because they couldn't stand Trump personally.
Anyway, 2020, whatever happened, is water under the bridge. It's over.
If Trump does end up being the R candidate in 2024, it will be interesting to see how it turns out. I'm sure some of you are convinced he will roll but I'm not confident.
Remember, that 81MM already has the 60-65MM people who turn out for popular leftist candidates (Obama, Hillary, etc.). There simply aren't enough active voters to go around to get Trump to 75MM and Biden to 81MM.
Put another way...Trump's 75MM votes would have been the most any candidate rec'd ever.
Biden getting 81MM and his opponent setting a record in the same election isn't possible. Go look at past elections - turnout doesn't move that quickly.
And for Biden to have turned out those numbers you'd have seen massive rallies, bumper stickers and yard signs, t-shirts and hats...the same thing you saw when Obama got 69MM votes. Obama shit was everywhere. NO ONE was excited for Biden except the 15-20% hardcore liberal base that would vote for a houseplant with a D by their name. Excitement and energy turns out the vote.
The election was 100% fvcky.
