Happy MLK Day

Who acted like they solved the race problem? There you go again, climbing a tree to lie.

I'm responsible for me...and it is a fact that the culture in 2022 Alabama is NOT like 1960's Alabama. There's still a great deal of racism north of the Mason-Dixon line as well, goofball. I guarantee you that the races mix more in Alabama than wherever you live.

It's your legacy too; own it. How do you not get that? This time I think you were stupid by accident.
I agree with most all of that. Sure it’s better now, thanks to the liberal civil rights champions. I just wish you would admit Alabama is still worse than most. Those Bubbas aren’t all dead yet. And there’s still plenty of younger ones as well.

Can you not be honest about that.

PS. Dont take it personally I’m not talking about you, as you don’t seem as hateful as some of your fellow Alabamans.

Deflecting? Read the title of the article again. If that doesn't work, have someone read it to you. Hope that helps.

I wasn't defending anyone, including the bigot that you voted for. I was making an unassailable point that you are now deflecting from.

I'll try different words...imagine if any president said anything like Biden did about any other religion other than Christianity. That simplify things for you sweetheart?
PS. You don’t really believe that Biden really said what that headline says. Thats just typical right wing fear bating. . I expect that from rubes like Gatordad but Maybe I gave you too much credit.

You keep missing the point lover.

He wasn’t criticizing Christianity. He was criticizing people who use the Bible to discriminate against homosexuals, like your buddy Ghost.

See the difference?
How am I discriminating against sinners engaging in homosexuality?

Hey look, the other homophobe shows up. Shocking.

Being a Welcher is a sin. Repent.

Simply stating that homosexuality is a sin is not homophobia. Hating a person due to that sin would be.

It's God's purview to make judgment, not ours.

I don't have time to read every article that I see on this board or other social media that I frequent. If you do, good Lord.

If they spun the headline, shame on them.

Stating that telling a lie is a sin isn't discriminatory towards liars. That should be a relief for you.

I do not accept that. I've lived MANY places east (edited from west...durp) of the Mississippi, including north of the MD line. I've seen racism at all stops.

Very few Bubba's left. Most of the rednecks I know hunt and fish with their black redneck friends. You have no clue what you are talking about.

Yes, racism still exists in Alabama. It also exists in the north. You want me to quantify that? How in the hell could one accurately do such a thing? I do know that I've met many Yankees from my time in Florida and Georgia who dropped the N word with surprising frequency. Notsomuch in Alabama...but mostly because there aren't many transplants where I live.

Joe goes against the Old/New Testament to placate sodomites. Despicable.

Biden isn't...he's pro-abortion and you voted for him.
@BSC911 has admitted here in the past that he was pro-abortion as well. That's what triggered the whole 'how can you and Hiden claim to be good Catholics and support abortion at the same time' debate.

Hopefully he has seen the error of his ways. But that doesn't seem to be a gift that @BSC911 has in abundance.

Biden isn't...he's pro-abortion and you voted for him.
You guys voted for Trump, who actually paid for an abortion. Even worship him.

That tells me where your moral compass is.

Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and provide more funding for displaced children and early childhood education. Nope, that goes against your low tax priorities.

Wow. What an amazing transformation Alabama has made. It must be full of black statewide elected officials, CEOs and country club members. I'll bet you all even send your kids to majority black public schools.

The mayor of Montgomery, which is still majority white (it's 55-45ish I believe) is black.

The county I live in is approximately 26% black, same as the state in general. We have 4 County Commissioners...1 is a black female. Two local police chiefs are black. The Circuit Court judges are 50% black and the County Commissioner I mentioned above is a municipal judge as well.

That's off the top of my head. We are a diverse community and it's not perfect but it's pretty damn harmonious. IOW's, it is NOT what you think it is...and my county is pretty damn rural.

You can't admit that you are wrong and that you don't know what you are talking about. That's fine...it's your bigotry on display which surprises no one.

Edit..the last Country Club I belonged to was in GA. Waste of money imo...so I have no idea. But my neighbors include the Governor of Alabama and one of the Circuit Court judges I mentioned above. Sorry to disappoint you.

This. No idea what the %'s are...because I have ZFTG...but the staff and student body looks a great deal like the community in general.
Right? Only racists focus on the color of someone's skin, the rest of us don't care because we know skin color is meaningless.

Actually, hating a person for being homosexual is not homophobia. Any fear is classified as a phobia. I don't think people who hate homosexuals are scared of them, they just don't like them. We Christians do not hate anyone, especially our enemies as they classify themselves. We love them as Christ loved us. That is not to say we have to condone or approve of their sin in the same way that people don't condone other activities.

God has already made a judgment on homosexuality and calls it an abomination. We are not making a judgment on a person by simply agreeing with God that an action is sinful. We are being unloving by not pointing that out since the continued refusal to make Jesus Lord of their life will ultimately cost them eternity with Him which is far worse than someone saying they disagree with their point of view.

Using the leftist logic, their disagreeing with the Christian point of view is narrow-minded and hate speech since they disagree with my perspective. That is total lunacy. We can disagree on morality and still get along.

Honest question, do you think that black individuals are underrepresented in coaching in college and professional sports? Do you think that black individuals are underrepresented as athletes in college and professional sports?

Well, if you deny somebody’s rights by misquoting the Bible, then yeah, that is a hate crime. That’s what the KKK and South Africa did. Im not surprised you are so open about it, you bigot.

God loves all of His children.
Calling us bigots while you openly support and ask God's blessings to a very well known known bigot like Groper Joe. Asking to bless Groper Joe is no different than you asking God to bless his friends and mentors George Wallace and Robert Byrd.

All of my money goes to my church and doled out between pro-life advocacy groups, Wounded Warriors, VFW, RIFA, Fellowship of Christians/Jews, building Christian Churches in Africa, and Girls/Boys Clubs of America.

Right, I have no fear of illegal aliens, Caitlyn Jenner, or Elton John.

He's trying to troll and failing badly at it. All he's doing is reminding us all how racist democrats (AKA dixiecrats) held sway over the Deep South for years.

We ran those racists out of the state a long time ago. Why do you think Alabama has been a Red state for over 30 years now?

Good try but tha
The mayor of Montgomery, which is still majority white (it's 55-45ish I believe) is black.

Good try but that's pretty weak. Whites are only 25% of Montgomery population. Blacks are 60%. So one councilman in probably a black district. And no senators or governors. Better but still underrepresented

Did you think I wouldn't check?

Simply stating that homosexuality is a sin is not homophobia. Hating a person due to that sin would be.

Agreed.

It's just ironic that a pro MLK thread turned into an anti homosexuality rant by some 《not you)

Here's the rub...I "believe the Bible" and I don't hate homosexuals. Biden said I violate their rights by believing in the Bible?

Now imagine if Trump said anything similar about any religion other than Christianity. BOOM...amirite???
Trump apparently knows so little about religion and the bible he is not qualified to speak to anyone about it. JMO

God loves all of His children.
The KKK, BLM, and ANTIFA are all thug arms of the Rats Party.

While Abe was a Republican, even thought Rat morons like Beijing Brandon try to make him out to be a fellow Rat.

PS - Cicero, Ill. is not in the South, last I checked....
"As Cicero residents, we need to keep doing this and we need to publicly acknowledge Cicero’s racist past and present. We need memorials where the past riots occurred, honoring the bravery of the Clark family, the courage of the Civil Rights marchers and the tragedy of Huey’s murder. We need to hold the Town accountable for ignoring the needs and safety of Black residents. If we want a healthier, safer Cicero, we need to protect our Black neighbors."

So, what's the black murder rate in Chicago in the now 'enlightened' days?

Racists of EVERY RACE are worldwide, so deal with it....

Whites are only 25% of Montgomery population. Blacks are 60%.

You are correct, honest mistake. Those were numbers I'd heard but I heard wrong. I should have checked.

61% Black
33% White

So one councilman in probably a black district.

That's in my county. I don't live on Montgomery City or Montgomery County.

I did check my County's demographics and it is 26% Black. Leadership of a community should reflect the community...and it does. Not sure what your point is here. This is a good thing.

Yes, you could have more black council members despite the demographics. But you could also have more white council members despite the demographics. This is a positive imho. She's awesome btw...young with a very bright future and like I said, she's also a municipal judge.

She will eventually become a Circuit Court judge imo...if not a state senator and then a US Senator.

I'm not really prepared to dispute or defend Trump's relationship with God or his understanding of Christianity. If you want to, have at it.

And we didn't hire Trump for our local minister, we voted him in as President,,, TWICE before the Socialist Rats stole the election and put Beijing Brandon and the Border Ho in the WH,,, what a disgrace...

Yet you’re quick to disparage Biden’s, who is a faithful Catholic.

Seems like old times.

I cannot for the life of me understand why posters here go to the trouble of explaining themselves or defending their beliefs to @BSC911. He openly supports a racist president, he openly mocks Christians for their beliefs, and he's claimed he supports abortion. In addition to being caught lying here multiple times.

Why anyone thinks their character is worth defending to a person like this is beyond me. You've spent all week defending why you and your state aren't racist, to a guy that is.

I just don't get it.

Awww. Poor little Ghost is still mad I exposed him as a Welcher and his state as a backwards hillbilly haven.

We're #49! Thank God for Mississippi.
