Happy Commitmas to Everyone...

Legghumpers infesting yet another thread. "Pit-ti-ful,,, plumb pit-ti-ful." -- Granny Clampit

On Wednesday, that Top 10 class proof rested on the lines of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Florida signed 4 DL'men, including former LSU commit Jalen Lee (6-1 306) from Watson, La. The Gators also added Gervon Dexter (6-6, 294), Johnnie Brown (6-2, 273) and Lamar Goods (6-3, 303). The foursome gives the Gators one of the top batches of incoming DL'men in the country.

On the OL, Florida signed Joshua Braun (6-6 356), Richie Leonard (6-2, 353), Gerald Mincey (6-5, 328) and Issiah Walker Jr (6-4 299). from Miami Norland High. The foursome is a pace ahead of the OL'men added in Mullen's 1st 2 recruiting cycles and adds depth at a position of need.

The next 'area of need' is in the secondary, so Dan/staff has already signed 6 DB's on ESD.

Dan said; "I think [our staff] did a great job and I think we have it headed in the direction we want." Then Dan reminded everyone (like the fevered brain) that the recruiting season is not over (in August)

And iG said much the same (where's the beef) yesterday, so we agree.... :D

Assuming that the 3 currently unsigned HARD commits sign and get in....

To fill the last 3 slots, these are on my Christmas with list:

1) RB Henry Parrish 5-10 183 **** - Miami, FL - a projected UF lean

2) WR Xzavier Henderson 6-3.5 180 **** - Miami, FL - a Clemp's-son lean

3) And the 3rd spot for some un-named, experienced 2020 eligible xfer.

-----

I'm not as worried as some about losing 4 Sr WR's from the 2019 team.
Because the 2020 roster will still have a very good base of experienced talent.
WR Rick Wells rsSr
WR/RB Kadarius Toney Sr
WR Trevon Grimes Sr
WR/TE Kyle Pitts Jr
WR Jacob Copeland rsSo
WR Ja'Markis Weston rsFr
WR Dionte Marks rsFr
WR/Ath Trent Whittemore rsFr
That's 8 already on the roster.
----
Plus the 3 FNG WR HARD commits, the best is already in on ESD.

J. Pouncey is not a grad transfer. They will have to apply for a waiver or he will sit a year..

It was you and about 5 others as well but I seem to recall his argument was that their would be no dropoff because they were all 4 & 5 star WRs. Of course he also didn’t take into account the Coley effect either.

Not saying it was only me, but I told him, specifically, repeatedly, in very strong language, and he told me I was an idiot. So I feel a little vindicated now.

Wide Receiver Jordan Pouncey to Florida as a Grad Transfer
The Florida Gators have added transfer wide receiver Jordan Pouncey, older brother of fellow 2020 signee Ethan, to their signing haul. The older Pouncey will join Florida as a graduate transfer, making him immediately eligible to play in 2020, per Florida's senior football writer Scott Carter.

How’s 3* Riley doing?

Are you talking about the lying Riley Coyote of Choke-la-homo? o_O

Ya know, I'm a little surprised that he's not going after Franks, since 1&done Hurts will be gone in 2020. He's becoming infamous tor riding the backs of QB's that better coaches have developed...

let’s see the finish Paco taco zzzzzzz :D

This from the head-nailed-to-da-flor twit that constantly touted his choker class ranking, all last year, while it was higher ranked that UF's was...

Prolly why they nailed this hypocrite chokers head to the flor....

Insta, I originally thought so too but CDM said this on Wednesday: “We're going to file the waiver to get him eligible for this season,” Mullen said Wednesday of Pouncey. “Hopefully that goes through for us -- him maybe more than me. It's about the student-athlete. We'll be okay. But hopefully the NCAA does what's right for the student-athlete.”

Actually I’m talking about your programs inability to win a national title. UF, Bama, LSU, Auburn and even Tennessee have at least done that in the 2000s. It’s been 40 years. Best of luck. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if it goes another 40. UGA fans are just happy with paper championships so they settle.
Tell us more about this Tennessee title in the 2000s.

Huh? Has nothing to do with UF? Grantham is your DC. And by the way, he's your Coley.
Grantham is not great by no means but I think UFs defense was still top 15. With all that talent on offense where was UGAs offense ranked. So unfortunately for you he’s still better than Coley. Coley is pretty bad and was a mistake by Smart to make him QB coach and OC.

Kirby will get it fixed soon one way or another.
I may have spoke too soon about not finishing number one in recruiting. Word is that number one is still on the table.

60th in total offense, 6 spots behind Mullen. 50th in scoring offense. Its not the talent. Its the ply calling a bit of the scheme. But now everyone expects the shiny object of a wide open offense. Kirby wants to build on the run and defense. He's stubborn like that. If he doesn't learn to meld the old with the new, he'll be a DC again.

Did he not graduate?
Has the NCAA changed/reversed the Grad-xfer / automatic eligible rule?

We were told they were going to win 3 of the next 4. Seems like they have a hard enough time just getting 1 since it has been 40 years.
Bullcrap, one of them has a youtube video up where he's guaranteeing 5 out of the next 10 national titles.

He might play...but will lose a lot of games.
He also won't ever see the NFL. There is NOBODY at Tennessee who has even the slightest idea on how to develop players and prepare them for the NFL. They had zero kids get drafted last year from this joke of a coaching staff yet they had more talent last year AND this year than we do. They are wasting these kids futures.

I hope so. I would hate to see your record if you didn't sign the #1 class...

TN has been a terrible program for a long time. Kiffen was their last best... that ended well.

LOL... looks like you won't have to. :)
Well you guys aren't jumping Clemson or Bama. Not enough recruits that highly rated to put you over those two guys. I read Clemson has signed the 2nd most 5 stars in a single class. Bama still has the record.

We'll be 1 or 2 when all is said and done. We're probably landing four more 5 star guys. That would give us six 5 stars. We may end up around 3100 points on Rivals.

We have the highest per player average on the composite as well (tied with Clemson).

Yeah that was an asinine comparison. Grantham has a Top 10 defense in the nation, Coley's offense is barely Top 10 in the SEC.
