Possible OT Kiyaunta Goodwin transfered
Not official yet but according to 247, he has enrolled in classes at UF. Usually, that doesn't happen unless you're coming lol
Rumors that OT transfer Keyaunta Goodwin is going to commit to UF. Keeping fingers crossed
Yes he did put on some bad weight. He’s already lost 20-30 pounds supposedly based on people that saw him in Gainesville over the weekend. Latest reports is UK has now tried very hard to keep him.I wanted him bad out of high school. Heard he put on weight but freshman lineman can change their bodies so fast. If he works hard, he can be dominant in a yr or 2

I would be very surprised if Goodwin will make a meaningful contribution to the Gators OL this season, although perhaps the trainers, S&C staff, and nutritionists can engineer a body makeover and make it happen.Rumors that OT transfer Keyaunta Goodwin is going to commit to UF. Keeping fingers crossed
Correct - https://www.on3.com/college/texas-a...mond-cottrell-flips-from-georgia-to-texas-am/I think Cottrell ended up at aTm
Kid isn’t very good IMO.
Especially agree on this - most players aren't talented enough to do 2 sports at this level. And if Brown doesn't take part in Spring football, then he needs to either stay with baseball permanent, or xfer out to get a chance to play football elsewhere.... JMOHO's as always.
I really like this pickup. Loads of potential.Former Kentucky OL Goodwin joins Florida

Me, too. Napier has certainly addressed the O-line needs. I imagine we'll see even more movement with players in the portal both coming and going after spring practice. I'm wondering if there are any high school guys left we could sign on NSD?I really like this pickup. Loads of potential.
I think we are done with 2023 high school guys. I like what Napier has done with the roster other than the stupid QB stuff. If he could at least get that position sorted out things would be much better because I feel like the other positions are being addressed either through high school prospects or portal.Me, too. Our 2 Oline coaches seem to actually develop really well - almost in real time. Gives me some hope for this next year.I really like this pickup. Loads of potential.

Brian Green will likely be a PWOHere's a guy who, apparently, wants to come to Florida. Not sure they will offer him. He's good friends with Roderick Kearney. Maybe a preferred walk-on?

We're, also, getting QB Parker Leise out of IMG Academy as a preferred walk-on.

Yes and I think CBN thought he had the QB situation addressed as well with Rashada and Lagway in the next two cycles.I think we are done with 2023 high school guys. sadgator’s kinda guy…

The Gators added some depth in their quarterback room with this commitment.gatorswire.usatoday.com
We have a Brown kid on the team?Wonder what the comparison of Brown vs Gile would be -
Oh wait Brown is playing Baseball.
Look…don’t blame sadgator…blame the hippies that raised him…
To me, he'll always be remembered as Little Bill in Boogie Nights.
LSMFAO…
Must be one of those Gene Williams(dot.com dips**t from Warchant) types.Kelby Collins is getting disrespected by recruit rankings
Florida football brought in one of the top defensive lineman classes in the country in the 2023 cycle. They brought in five guys who were rated in the top 50 of the DL rankings and added to their depth up front.
The leader of UF’s DL class is Kelby Collins. He’s rated across multiple services as a top-5 defensive lineman and is a top-50 player according to 247 Sports.
What’s weird about the way that Kelby is ranked is that his ranking continue to drop.
Why is it going down? Well, that’s a great question.
All he’s done as of late was go out and win MVP of the All-American Game and dominated camps over and over.
Apparently, this made recruiting services say “Meh, he isn’t great.”
Fever & other Posters on this board can tell you the real reason -
HE SIGNED WITH UF !

2023 Transfer Football Team Rankings
LSU #1, FSU #2, UF #24
Supposedly updated today - 1-26-2023 but did not include OT Kiyaunta Goodwin.
Delighted to have him; but his inclusion will not make that big a difference in the final ranking.

Despite 247's best efforts, IMO, Transfer Rankings, like HS Recruiting Rankings - still have a large subjective component -
Beauty is still in the eye of the beholder.
Rankings don't take the field & win or lose games -
BUT
I would MUCH rather have classes ranked in the top 5 instead of the top 25 ! LOL

Why,,, I've never seen better QB recruiting at UF.
Heisman Candidates one and all for sure, the rest of the SEC is in big trouble now!
There is obviously going to be a massive battle in Fall practice to determine which one of those fine QB's is going to be the 2023 starter....
Absolutely, why even bother with a Fall practice, because everything will be decided by the O&B game....We will know the starter and pecking order at the end of spring probably.
