refs screened the safetyUnbelievable - no excuse for the defense on that play...
we have 93 yards rushing. That isn't too bad. Treon has been much worse than "meh". He's looked about as good as Driskel. Harris has been awful. Yes pass protection has been bad also.We have 196 yards, which isn't good, but isn't that poor all things considered, Vandy's D is good. What I see as the biggest issue is we aren't consistent for ish. Treon has been meh, what I see as the biggest issue right now is the o-line. How many yards have we run for, like 50? And every time we drop back there's a free rusher. Our o-line is getting handled something nasty and I did not see that coming.

Treon has been meh, but the o-line is by far the bigger issue right now. How many yards have we run for, like 50? And every time we drop back there's a free rusher. On at least two occasions Treon ran out of a 10+ yard loss. Our o-line is getting handled something nasty and I did not see that coming.
we aren't losing this game because of the refs. We are losing because we have a QB that can't pass the ball and doesn't scare anybody and our pass protection has been spotty. Then we had the one defensive lapse but that is all it takes. The officials are making it look like we are playing Bama, they are doing everything imaginable to help out Vandy in this game. They aren't even hiding it
The reviews, the spots... its pathetic and this nonsense will never end for Florida
Taylor does a throat slash and it's national news, a team does the chomp and even more taunting... no big deal
Drive the field? We have had excellent field position all game. We can't even drive half the field.I wasn't including Harris's yards since most of those were scrambles and not design runs. Take those out and we're at around 60 yards which is blah.
I don't really think Treon has been 'bad.' What throw or decision has been bad? The 4th down? Let's look at that play. We call a rollout with exactly one passing option. As soon as he turns around off the fake the defensive end is right there. He has three decisions at that point. Throw it away which we be completely stupid since its 4th down, try to beat him to the corner which wasn't happening, or throw it up to his TE hoping he can make a play. That was the right decision giving the circumstances. The other two give Vandy the ball at midfield.
Vandy is forcing us to drive the field and we can't do it. Treon isn't the answer at QB, that much is obvious but we aren't losing this game now because of him. There hasn't been any WTF decisions or throws that stalled the offense. We can't run and we can't protect. That's the major issue.

Feleipe Franks is in Gville as we speak. Luke Del Rio will be the starter next year if Grier's suspension is upheld. Del Rio is better than Harris. The coaching staff was hoping Del Rio would have become eligible this year.Well we are through a cycle and 2/3 and the only QB coming on campus via Mac is not even the starter at his high school and is slower than most of our OL. So you better hope Grier stays for his fifth yeat and stays out of GNC.
And yes, you are exaggerating how bad it has been. Out OL hasn't been this bad in weeks.

Yep. We've had excellent field position all day. Harris had time to throw but won't throw it. Harris has regressed. This is why the coaching staff was hoping Del Rio could have been eligible this year. They knew that Harris wasn't a capable backup QB.Welp, another possession in Vandy territory wasted.
yes our Oline isn't very good. We knew that. That isn't a surprise. Unfortunately Harris is really bad though. He just doesn't look comfortable at all. He's never been an accurate passer. That was a given but now he's not doing anything good at all.You guys are over complicating it. Even when Grier was starting we had games where we were running for 2.9, 3 ypc which is pathetic. We still moved the ball at an above average level though because Grier was a good enough passer. And even then he was taking a beating dropping back. Now we can't run and we have a QB who is not as good of a passer, so the offense is stalling. Everyone blames the QB.
We just don't have anything to go to. We need to take deep shots to back them up off the line but we can't protect long enough to do it. We can't run the ball so we're constantly in 2nd and 3rd and long. So to protect the o-line we have to throw short but the defense is sitting on all those routes because they know they're coming since we can't protect for shit. Oh and by throwing short which we're forced to do, we can't pick up 1st downs and move the ball. What exactly is the QB supposed to do given all that? Y'all are living in a dream world if y'all think just changing QB's would fix all that. We had the exact same issues with Grier against UT for 3 1/2 quarters and against UK and Mizzou where we had a single TD pass in both games. It ain't gonna change until the oline gets better.
They are just kids. It happens all the time.Really will never understand how a
Team shows up and plays uninspired and sloppy w what is in front of them. This has been disgusting.

Can Callaway play QB? He can do just about everything else.
