Happy for the win. The calm demeanor from McElwain was impressive. Defense was great as usual, but this is a very pathetic Vandy offense. Our offense stunk and Harris didn't play very well. The O-line has been a weakness for several years, but today they were as bad as I've ever seen them. But in spite of all that, plus 4 turnovers, they still won the game. I'm thrilled, as this team has already exceeded my expectations.

Probably right, especially if we would have called that damn outside zone or slow counter. But I still didn't like the call. Your chances of getting 1 yard are much better than getting a 43 yard FG, even with a good kicker, much less one making 43% of his attempts. You gotta play the odds there. I'd understand if it was a much shorter kick, but not from that distance. Thankfully he made it.

we aren't losing this game because of the refs. We are losing because we have a QB that can't pass the ball and doesn't scare anybody and our pass protection has been spotty. Then we had the one defensive lapse but that is all it takes.

I didn't say that was why they were losing. I said the officials were absolutely pathetic, and it only got worse in the 2nd half. That last drive showed the agenda that was there all along for them. Targeting on a sack my ass. Those guys should be terminated immediately and shipped to Europe

Hopefully this is the end of Mac screwing around with the kicking game. It could have cost us against Uga and almost lost us that game today. Whatever his problem is with Hardin, I'm sure he can kick an extra point or a 20 yard field goal. We need to quit giving up points at the goal line.

Other than that, great job by coach and the gators.

Horrible calls and spots aside, our QB play is so bad and our kicking game is so atrocious that it's hard to be too optimistic about competing for rings this season. Making the SEC championship is more than I would have ever hoped for at the beginning of the season, but I fear we are going to get steamrolled by bama.
