Game Day Thread against...who? Oh that is right. It is against the Owls

Wow seriously! Get Hardin off this cot damn team now! He steps to the kick ridiculously slow! Holy shit.

Holy shit he almost caught it. Damn DB didn't even look for the ball. Of course it was Poole.

Almost caught it again on 4th down too. Why not play a cover 2 man there or something like that. Good lord we don't coach intelligently sometimes.

I'm not even happy.

Neither are the legions of Noles who were ready to invade the board, Pass.

Its crazy we have even won these games recently with our kicking problems and lack of a running game push. Its not like our passing game should be able to win on its own. Luckily our defense is making plays.

Never...ever...apologize for a win...over anyone.

There is a reason it is called a season.

If this had been a loss...have at it. But, winning is great, especially when it is one of what is now TEN wins.

Yep. Ten wins.

From the standard of Muschamp, excellent. From the standard of a good football team, we are not close.

I like to think that the last three weeks have been tough mentally because they knew that each of the three teams we were playing are not very good at all.

Hard to get excited for them, especially at noon.

Hopefully, they'll come out with purpose and drive against FSU and Bama.

It's going to take a mad hatter to have a chance in the next 3 games. Garbage offensive line play combined with schizophrenic shell shocked QB is not a recipe for success. The damn Owls!!!! Damn.

That is about the only silver lining in this cloud.

For all the bitching about the officials, they really swallowed thier whistle in this game. On the last third down play, Poole was mugging the wr. No call.

We won regardless but the officials should get maybe some gift cards from the athletic office.

How can they have that attitude knowing if you run the table you get to play for all the marbles? What kind of mentality is that?

Hey, didn't say it was a great mentality, but at least it provides hope.

The alternative is that we have just gotten terrible and will lose every game left until sometime next fall.

For a glass half full thought. These guys BELIEVE they will win these close games. I truly believe a Champ coached team loses to Vandy and FAU

Remember everyone the CWM was 11-2 with a blocked punt victory over a Div. 2 team.

Yea this team is eerily similar to that one. Just waiting for it all to collapse. It started off great but we're just finishing with a thud.

I watched this game off and on while I was on Lake Istokpoga. Trust me the current issues has nothing to do with Harris. This OLine has been luck, very luck, that other positions are stepping up to the plate this season. The OLine suck bad...

Oh come on man.

This is the same mentality that pissed me off the last 4-5 years.

Way too many people believe it's all or nothing when it comes to problems.

The OL is struggling. There's no depth basically no experience.

Treon is inaccurate on 90% of his passes and he's incredibly unsure what he is seeing. He's afraid to pull the trigger on wide open receivers and isn't anticipating timing routes.

We have a kicking game that is simply waiting to cost us a game.

Due to these problems, our play calling has become very fun shy and ultimately predictable. You can hate on Nuss all you want but what are you going to do when you have a QB that can't consistently pass, and a line that can't control the line of scrimmage for the run game and are miserable against the pass rush? No matter what you think about Nuss, you also know Mac is involved, and the fact that they can't seem to figure out a single way to work around these compounding issues is a sign of how the players are deteriorating.

And the injuries are getting silly.

Our bright spots on offense are in Callaway, Townsend, Taylor, and especially McGee.

That's one thing Grier knew, and maybe Treon figured it out after MCGEE won us the game today. McGee is a straight gamer and a huge safety blanket for young QBs. It's no coincidence that our offense has struggled without Grier and at the same time, McGee has practically disappeared.

It would matter in the sense that we would at least be able to run the ball and keep our defense rested and off the field. And when he's playing like he is today we can take the ball out of his hands and lean on the ground game.
