That was a nice pick route combo. Why the hell we don't run stuff like that all the time I have no idea. Gets the ball out of the hands of the QB for an easy throw and helps the oline. It's like we're determined to be 'pro style' until we can't anymore and then they try to open up the offense, so annoying.

I was asking because I see Halter and some other guys manning the tackle spots when it was Johnson, Sharpe, and Ivey a lot during the season. Halter and Dillard are just bad.

Because you don't have to think. See it, locate it, throw it. That's why I keep saying Nuss ain't doing anything to help the QB or oline right now. Get in the gun, run some tempo, use the option game, and then throw off of that. It ain't complicated. Just look at the nice pick combo we ran right before the bomb. How often do we call stuff like that? Just catch and throw it. We rarely do that. It's just dumb. We're making it harder than it needs to be.
