I think you're confusing people saying Winston is a punk and TPD & FSU covered up for him with saying he was guilty.
I think you're confusing incompetence with cover-up. TPD is not the reason Winston is not in jail. He's not in jail because his accuser couldn't pick one story and stick to it.
I know plenty of Gator fans who did the same despicable things regarding Treon Harris' accuser as Nole fans did towards Winston's. Harris' accuser NEVER recanted. She left UF and moved back home out of state because the harassment she was getting from people in the community and on campus was unbearable.
The schmucks who care more about winning than anything else root for ALL TEAMS. Gator fans are no different.

When you say WInston lost a Heisman did he have to give the won he had back or just didn't win another one? I must have been in my cave under my rock when that happened.

Here's the thing. I know people in Valley Head, Ider, Gurley, Fyffe, Sylvania, Geraldine, Valley, Beauregard, and even freaking Loachapoka that speak the Kings English better than that guy.
And those same people pronounce their cities as Vallay Hid, Idur, Guorlee, Fahph, Slyvanier, Jurldeen, Vaalee, Borgerd, and Loshapoker.
He isn't dumb as a post though. His grades, test scores and ability to process information on the football and in the classroom prove that. He's country and when he's in a comfortable setting it comes out. When's he in an interview or a PC he is a lot more polished.

I've seen plenty of interviews and press conferences where he didnt talk dumb either. It's because he isn't dumb.
