They got away with a lotSouth Carolina got away with traveling on that long pass. Huge missed call in a two point game
White needs to bench anyone that does not go inside on every possession. We are dribbling around the perimeter and jacking up a last minute three. White getting badly out coached here
He just might. He finally figured out that Chiozza is our best PG.Hopefully he reads your posts from this year and comes back smarter.
. The team will miss the heart of Justin Leon more than anything else.
Disagree.I love Cheese but hes such a defensive liability. He should not have been out there.
Disagree.
Meh. This one's not on Chiozza. In my opinion he should have gotten more minutes. Hill is still a walking turnover machine and takes wild ass shots. Turnovers in the first half kept us from having a 15 point lead at the half. I'm another not sorry to see Hill move on.I
SC went right at him and over him on 4 straight possessions. It turned out to be the difference
Don't ever think refs don't influence the outcome of athletic events. They let South Carolina beat you guys to pieces.
Shh....bradley will think you are criticizing White.I'm no basketball expert but I saw something REALLY strange the last 5 minutes of the game. Florida stood around on offense when SC was in zone. No post player anywhere in the middle. NOWHERE near the paint. A bunch of dribbling and waiting for the shot clock to wind down like we were ahead by 10 or 20 points. WTF? No post player to pass to, that's how we get all those kick out wide open 3's. That looked brain dead to me. What kind of offensive set is that? Any experts want to school me on that? I'm at a loss.
I think Hill's middle name is Tom (Turn Over Machine).Meh. This one's not on Chiozza. In my opinion he should have gotten more minutes. Hill is still a walking turnover machine and takes wild ass shots. Turnovers in the first half kept us from having a 15 point lead at the half. I'm another not sorry to see Hill move on.
We made it a hell of a lot further than I thought, wasn't sure if it would be one and done to be honest. Losing Big E hurt down the stretch, the record during that period doesn't lie. I'm still at a loss what kind of offensive set we ran the last 5 minutes of the game. We looked like FSU in reverse, with Hamilton calling the offense. It was a great season and we have a very good coach. Nobody had us in the Elite 8. Certainly nobody thought that after we lost Egbunu.
By all means, oh wise one, share with us your great wisdom. Cast some pearls of insight among the swine. Lead us to enlightenment. Show us the error of our ways.Ha ha. And sure enough, all the pearl clutchers are back in force. I'm sure Mike White appreciates the support from you all these last 10 days between the Vandy loss and this one, and will try harder to meet all of your exacting standards next year. Hopefully, more balls will go in, which = GOOD.
We did not lose the game because of the officiating, but it didn't help.
Terrible, just terrible sequence
The officiating did seems to change from 1st to 2nd half. They allowed a lot of banging bodies and incidental contact the 1st half and called most everything the 2nd half. But to allow our guys in the 2nd half to just dribble the 30 second clock away and then jack up another missed 3 time after time after time without calling a timeout, getting in someone's face or benching a player or two is a reflection on the coach, but also the leadership on the floor. I love Mike White and congratulate him for a fine year, but he didn't make the coaching adjustments needed in this game.Shh....bradley will think you are criticizing White.
A combination of things, all bad, that caused this loss. Not adjusting to the officiating in the first half vs the second, poor ball movement in the second half, poor shooting in the second half, badly designed offensive sets in the second half and poor officiating.
The gator nation will forever refer to this game as the swindle in the garden.
Of course you see it that way. Gaytors have never actually lost a game ....it's always the refs
Refs beat the gators.
