Let's get a jump on this. I can't find a line, but I'm thinking the Cats will be favored by 3. I would have like our chances with big John, but it will be tough to win at Rupp without him. Look for Hayes to be in foul trouble early with some homecooking in Lex. Anyone know if Gak is back?

We will need all of Rimmers 5 fouls and then some. Stone is going to have to give some big minutes and use that big ass to box out. I hope the gators run them out of the gym!

We beat them soundly in the O'Dome (by 25) and while I know this is a huge challenge, I'm hoping our defense and experience will still be better than their talent and youthfulness. Guards need to play smart, guys have to hit their share of 3's and the team defense needs to make them uncomfortable while crashing the boards like we did at home. The way the refs call the game could be a key and KY always gets the advantage there, just like Bama in football.

Cats go as their guards go. Thats good news for us since we are shorthanded in the middle.

I trust White and his team to be able to get it done again, even in Lex. Why?

instaGator has been calling Mike White 'the closest thing that UF could get, to a young BillyD clone. -- But how about getting a 2nd opinion?

“It was a great call by Jeremy Foley. He made a great call,” ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas said earlier this month. “I’ve watched Mike. I was familiar with him when he played at Ole Miss, but when he was at Louisiana Tech I thought he was one of those guys that was the next wave of great coaches. He’s proven that to be true.

Okay, then how about a 3rd opinion?

Longtime college basketball analyst Dick Vitale tweeted earlier this week that he believes White should be considered for National Coach of the Year.

The Gators, (Foley & staff) seem to have found another gem from the mid-major level, nearly two decades apart. They're back at the top of the SEC again, playing in the image of a head coach who looks like one of the young stars of the profession. (and the same applies to the McElwain hire IMO)

Line went to 4.5

Every single guy on the Gameday panel picked us to win outright in Lexington as underdogs today...

Since Kentucky is playing awful they are getting even more fouls for it, that's 4 nickel and dimer bullshit fouls in a row ever since they called the timeout to go down 8-0... 3 of them were just absolutely unbelievable to get hill out of the game immediately, for the 1000th anniversary in a row of early foul trouble against uk... Hill was raising his hands and had no idea what they called

Allen made the fatal mistake of playing too well and hitting too many shots... FOUL trouble immediately and out of the game before the under 12 timeout even happens. This team could never beat us on a real court so this game is just pointless to me

No WAY this game would be close on any other court against any other team, they would never be down just four playing this bad.

ONLY at coRUPPt arena could there be a god damn foul at the buzzer LMFAO

Flash News --- The SEC Officials are biased/corrupt/incompetent again...

And in other flash news, the sky is Blue...

I think we're playing dumb. Robinson's foul at the end of the half was caused by Hill not being able to make a layup. And he did crash into the back of the KY guy. Other than Allen & Leon we're shooting terribly and are getting KILLED on the boards. I think the foul are 9 against us, 8 against them. Barry can't make a shot, Stone can't make a shot, Robinson can't make a shot, Chiozza can't make the front end of a 1 & 1. I feel lucky KY has been turning it over so much because we're not playing anywhere near like we did in Gainesville.

Yeah it was a bad end to the half. Chiozza had 1-1 to put us up 7 with a minute and a half left, and it was a clusterfk from then on.

As soon as they put hayes back in the game i said they would could actually call a foul on him with US having the ball with 7 seconds left, and that's EXACTLY what they did on the furthest spot on the other side of the floor they can for a buzzer beater to make sure the game is tied. Absolutely no way in hell we can win this game without playing perfect if it's a tie game after all that, because they won't keep turning it over that many times and obviously even if they do we STILL can't win... and they will be in the bonus at the 14 minute mark and shooting FT's every possession for inbounding the ball the whole last 8 minutes... It's unbelievable what you have to deal with to win there, it's damn near impossible without hitting all your threes, no one but Allen can even come close on them without bricking them wide open entirely. Stone and Hill should NEVER be shooting jumpshots, and hill has two complete bricks on lay ups already, the one before the buzzer just got us another foul and a tie game instead of being up four, didn't even touch the damn rim on a LAY UP. I really just can't watch a game in this gym...

No chance in hell to win, as soon as they get up 8 every time it evaporates away in 5 seconds...

Robinson is playing better, but the bigs are getting dominated on the boards and our guys are committing too many silly fouls. Monk is on fire and we seem to have no answer.

Our big leads get evaporated in mere seconds, as soon as we get down? Time to go home

Im done watching this and any other game as usual in this joke ass arena, this team will never beat us away from that place and are nowhere near the team we are

I just can't blame this loss on the refs. Kentucky played better than us today and Monk caught fire in the 2nd half and was unstoppable. Hayes, Leon, Robinson & Stone just got killed on the boards and our guards committed too many stupid fouls. They forced the action much better than we did, as we settled for way too many jump shots and didn't shoot it very well.

Knew this could happen today. If UF gets UK in the SECT finals on a neutral court, I like our chances even without Egbunu.

Refs aren't letting our PGs handcheck, which is a huge part of our defensive gameplan. Foul trouble is going to cost us the game.

Not having Big E definitely hurt. Haven't seen the final stats but seemed like we missed at least a dozen uncontested 3's (well before it became garbage time) and even more short jump shots. That's leaving around 20 points out there making a decent percentage of them and bad shooting effects defense big time.
Dat wuz ugly.
