Was up at Lakeland high school earlier today with Rivals.com's Rob Cassidy. Checked in on a few underclassmen prospects from Lakeland as well as 2017 standouts James Robinson and AJ Davis. I was able to speak with Robinson last night which can be read here for those who missed it.

Much of what James told me again today is the same as yesterday, but he did go a little more in depth. Today he told me how the Gators message to him has been to stay focused with school and stay home and rep his home state. He said he would like to visit places like Michigan State, Florida, and Clemson this summer, but visits are far from locked in now. He said schools like Georgia, Michigan, and Miami are recruiting him very hard as well as UF and Clemson.

The one big difference from yesterday was that Robinson named a leader today, and it's Florida "for right now". When asked what UF is doing to put them on top he said "Since coach Torrian got there they have just been coming at me hard."

Ideally Robinson wants to commit sometime around Army All American game, but still a ways to go till Jan.
