SR is the man, the myth, the legend. Football, Baseball and Basketball owe him a huge debt of gratitude!
SR and BD Inc are a team effort
SR, I hope you realize that those who accuse you of mediocrity are a small few compared to the rest of us on this board. We are all family!! Gator family...Gator nation!! We all LOVE THE GATORS!!! I have many friends on this board...Jason...BB...Heisman...KC...Halley...on and on. Again, if we make a handful of changes that absolutely need to be made...our future is bright! And soon! I am generally a positive person regarding the Gators, but believe me, I won't put up with less than championship quality program. Some accuse me of putting up with mediocrity but those who know me, like those I've mentioned above...know that's absolutely not the case. SR and BD Inc are a team effort
Thanks for all you do. We all stand together, in all kinds of weather! We are all family!! Gator family...Gator nation!! We all LOVE THE GATORS!!! ok I’ll do it…just need a large advance, tickets to his suite for all games, access to the BDI tailgates, some of that pappy being handed around, so I capture all of the going ons 👀I've said this here before... but someday someone needs to write a book about how UNCLE GARY is almost single-handedly saving Gator football!!!
He sure was dead on when he said before the season....."Don't sleep on Gumps."Sure hope SR is feeling a bit of redemption. I loved his positivity before the season began. I can't help but feel recent play is showing it was warranted.
BD Inc. is proud to be the minnow in comparison to Gary's whale... but @Heisman Gator 1 works his ass off to make us relevant!
If lagway had started Texas & Miami games I think the outcomes would have been differentI've said this here before... but someday someone needs to write a book about how UNCLE GARY is almost single-handedly saving Gator football!!!
He didn't get to be CEO/President/Owner of a multi-billion dollar company by being hasty, impatient or irrational.
I know a lot of people think that "Three Years" was more than enough time for Napier to turn the program around... but Gary sees our current level of play as proving that he actually HAS. It may not mean we made the playoffs in Year 3... but it may mean we are following the old adage:
Year 1 - Lose Big
Year 2 - Lose Close
Year 3 - Win Close
Year 4 - Win Big
The only road bump in the development were the Miami and Texas A&M games... where both the team and the players just didn't truly BELIEVE they could win. NOW THEY DO with Lagway. We didn't win that Tennessee game... but Lagway leading that last minute comeback was eye opening. And we would've beaten Georgia if Lagway had played the whole game.
The Ole Miss game will be very telling. The Swamp will be rocking. The fans want it. And now, the TEAM is actually confident it can win big games.
THANK YOU, Gary, for doing everything you are in order to make Year 4 the "Win Big" season!
I think a lot of the people throwing the word mediocrity around aren’t talking about the ones who actually do give - it’s probably more about how it’s up to a guy like SR to carry the load, when a team like Texas probably has a half dozen people like that to call up when they need an extra injection.SR, I hope you realize that those who accuse you of mediocrity are a small few compared to the rest of us on this board.
I hope we win & if we lose i hope big poppa buys us that coach.![]()
I agree with most of what you said. However, people have specifically called out SR and other big time boosters for not being serious about football. I have seen it myself. But I believe you are right that SR carries the majority of the weight.I think a lot of the people throwing the word mediocrity around aren’t talking about the ones who actually do give - it’s probably more about how it’s up to a guy like SR to carry the load, when a team like Texas probably has a half dozen people like that to call up when they need an extra injection.
I don’t think it’s fair to him (or healthy for UF) if we’re having to rely on one “whale”. I think every one of us would like a few more Gator fans in a position like SR to step up to the plate.
Cant say enough good things about the guys who put in the actual work, whether it’s cash or even coordinating things like BD Inc. I just want more of those people lol.
Well those people are losers. Stupid to specifically target the only guys we know who are actually helping.I agree with most of what you said. Man, Halley you're brave. I get crushed when I talk about the 4 steps of a rebuild. I just added that Yr1 was an evaluation year. Napier didn't start the rebuild of the roster until last year. During year 1 he cleaned up a lot behind the scenes (housing, parking, accountability issues etc). So for Napier I haveI've said this here before... but someday someone needs to write a book about how UNCLE GARY is almost single-handedly saving Gator football!!!

This is still like nails on a chalkboard lol. I stand by it not having to be this way, but boy do I hope you're right in the end and that it works out for the bestMan, Halley you're brave. Yr2 - Lose Big

Yr5 - Win big and sustain it going forward
Also thank you guys for all you do for our Gators!!!
