Fire Mike White and Todd Grantham

Taking the 'fire them whiners' to the logical end point is what I've done. :p

Any who don't like it (i.e. gatordufus3) can bite me,,, or join me in LMFAO at the rampant fandelizing.... 🤣
They had to come back against a garbage Ole Piss team, and no reason for the ass kicking UF received against UK.

Here's the solution (ripped from the Twitterverse):

Sully recruits for both football & baseball. White recruits basketball. Mullen coaches/schemes for both football & basketball. Sully coaches baseball-of course. White goes on coffee runs to keep Mullen & Sully amped! Everyone stays employed

🤣 😇 🤣

Now that's the spirit to begin yet another socialist off season.... ;)

I really believe if we were to replace Mike White, I think Alabama would be an awesome place to poach their hoops coach. He's turned their program around, and has them kicking some serious ass in the SEC. Just think about it, he's at Bama, where their students and faculty don't GAS about anything outside of football. As a matter of fact, they wouldn't even notice Oats was taken away from them if we reeled him to UF. While we're at it, let's steal their gymnastics coach from them.

Saban as our DC too!

Mike White should leave for a school were the fans deserve a winning HC, and he should take as many of his assistants with him as possible. UF is such a B-Ball powerhouse now days, than any coach off the street should be able to come in here and win SEC-C's & NC's right out of the chute....

After stealing 5 years of big money from UF, he doesn't need a big contract anymore, he can just coast along at a place where he'd be appreciated for who he is and what he does, which will never happen at socialist BLM UF.

I don’t think anybody wants him or his staff.

Absolutely not, why would they???
Only an organization that's butt-ugly and village idiot stupid would ever hire him.
And that's why he's currently draining the coaching fund bank at UF, right? ;)

HA HA HA HA HA! It'll be the same way Ron Zook left for, how did he pronounce it, Illi-Noise.

Well, the Zookster did take perennial loser Ill-noise to a Rose Bowl, (for about the 1st time ever)....

KJ = Preseason SEC Player of the Year

(name the last UF player to be named such)

SL = Consensus 5-star and 1st Team All SEC Player
(name the last UF player to fit that description)

Of course, losing both should not make any difference at all, just move along and next man up, right?

The Zooker had just one decent season at Illi-Noise.

Before the Zookster, Ill-noise had been to only one Rose bowl since 1964.

In that 1984 Rose, they lost to UCLA 45 - 9.... (-36)
24 years later n 2008, they lost to USC 48 - 17.... (-31)
So Ron was just a little above average for a noisy HC, but so what?
Zook was their HC 2005-11, so he had more than one decent year there.

Ron was 2-1 in bowl game as their HC.
The Noise has only been to one bowl since Zook left, losing to 2nd Tier LaTech 35 - 18.

While not HC material imo, I'd hire Ron back to coach the Gator ST's in a heartbeat.
He was coaching in the NFL before UF, and he was hired back to the NFL after the Noise.
And he is currently a Senior Analyst for Maryland. (where is the gatordufus3 coaching now?)

But hey, you skipped the major part of that post to diss on Ron.
Why was that? 🤓

Zook was a solid assistant coach - not head coach material regardless of what he did with a mediocre Illinois program. I would love to have the guy back at UF as an assistant.

Not in the game tonight: KJ - SL - CC 🤓

UF 75 - 49 Tennis-sea. (-26)

More solid proof that Mike doesn't know chit about offense and needs to be fired yesterday... 🤣 🤣 🤣

A garbage Ole Piss team dominating Miss State. Go figure. Try and explain Mike White's great coaching then, not during the 2016-2017 season.

We played with energy and really moved on offense tonight. White had the kids ready to play. This is easily his best win as our coach.

We need to string some games together with this kind of effort. Bama is putting a major beat down on the bungle tigers in BR.

We need to move like we did tonight on offense. Let the kids play fast and run. He did that tonight. Hopefully he doesn't retreat back to everyone stand around.

The consistent thing about Mike White's teams is their inconsistency. Tonight they proved their potential and talent. But just as often they show they can't do this game in and game out. That's on the coaching. The talent is there.

White reminds me of Ron Zook....lose to garbage teams, then turn around and beat top 10 team. No consistency.

In other news, and not that I'm excusing Mike White's lack of coaching, but the Rat Face coach at Puke has a 5-4 record.

UK - Dukie - NCa --- None of those 3 are ranked, so all 3 HC's obviously need to be fired because gatordufus3 knows that what they've done in the past doesn't mean squat. 😏

Mike knows his job and he coaches the players up consistently.
However, he's not allowed to go out on the court and play for them,
Last night proved that when they do as they've been coached, things can go pretty well.
(the ones here that believe that he coaches them to stand around etc in practice , or that he instructs them to do so in the games,,, are goamless moe-rons)

"So they would basically be facing the nation's No. 2-rated defense without their 3 best players, (Johnson-Lewis-Castleton).... About four hours later, after obliterating the Volunteers 75-49, the Gators had equaled the most lopsided victory over an Associated Press Top 10 team in UF program history."

Maybe what needs to be done is to play the ones that play as they have been coached, instead of the ones that think that they are 'entitled' to start/play just because of who they are....

PS -- My own wish is that all of the Gator's teams, play as much of the roster as is possible in the games,
The positive reasons for doing so are legion... I'd rather win by 1 point while playing the entire roster, than to win by 20+ points by playing just the starters.

In other news, read this and get someone not brain-dead to explain what it says/means...

Our assist to turnover ratio is 244th in the country right now and we are 182nd in rebounds per game. We have dropped from 22nd in the NET rankings to 55th with the 2 losses last week. The Johnson loss was devastating, but it seems like every year there is some kind of excuse or rationalization for why Gator basketball isn't better.
The overall direction and how the teams looks/ended each year is the concern. MW has done a good job with some teams but the consistency is concerning. We just started the season but outside of the win against the Toothless TN guys the other day this year has started out rough.

Why are the CB and Safety coaches gone, while DC/DL Todd remains? I think that I know why, but here's a 2nd opinion on part of the answer from Swamp 247....

"It wasn't going to be easy replacing a Top 10 NFL Draft pick with CJ Henderson gone, but few envisioned it being as difficult as it proved to be. While Kaiir Elam certainly developed nicely, Marco Wilson was plagued by inconsistent play (and poor focus shoe throwing) and the younger players Florida had hoped might have relatively immediate impact didn't make huge waves. The Gators were solid at the position but unspectacular, and poor safety play really made the group look worse than it was at times."

"Florida needs to spend a lot of time this offseason emphasizing wrapping up when tackling in the open field, rather than launching shoulders at ball-carriers."

~ That's something that I was harping on last off season, (iG).

For 2021, it's likely Elam and Cream (whichever CB that floats to the top by Fall), iG's guess is Hill and/or Marshall. However, the CB room is pretty full now and so it's anyone's job to earn.
Possible Cream for 2021:

CB
Kaiir Elam So (likely an All SEC starter)
Jaydon Hill So
Jahari Rogers Fr
Avery Helm Fr
Kamar Wilcoxson Fr (a possible flip to safety)
Ethan Pouncey Fr (now recovered from hip injury)
Jason Marshall Fr
Jordan Young Fr

=====

"Florida had the potential to be really strong at defensive tackle with four seniors on the roster going into the year, but an offseason medical hardship for Elijah Conliffe limited the depth a bit and then (Chump) Kyree Campbell missed the first 3 games. The result was a unit that wasn't up to snuff early on and had trouble replacing Campbell's presence in the middle. The Gators got better as the year wore on and began to develop some younger depth, but the unit didn't feature an elite difference-maker. By year's end it was a solid group but not a whole lot more."

In iG's OHO, the depth has been restored (with portal & recruits) with solid talent. The 2020 Sr losses seem to add up to a positive for 2021

Daquan Newkirk Sr - AU grad-xfer
Antonio Shelton rsSr - PSU grad-xfer

Because giving up half a hunny to Bammer is proof the defense is good?

Softball starts Saturday with a doubleheader at USF, baseball next weekend with 3 games hosting Miami. Can't wait. Basketball team only has 5 scheduled games left and they are all gonna be tough - at Arkansas, Auburn & Kentucky, at home vs. Georgia & Missouri.
