What do you think about Michigan. I think Biden is going to eat out a win and be president. Hardly a mandate but not what we wanted. More referendum on how people hate trump.
In the long game it may work to the Republicans favor because it will embolden some of these Democrats to be far left liberals and will probably come back and bite them in 2022

I’ve talked to lots of people like that. It’s kind of a visceral reaction. It’s like I don’t care what he’s done I just don’t like him so much I can’t vote for them. Feelings hold sway over rational thought and most people particularly when it comes to things like perceived love and politics. Rational thought and critical thinking are not used by most people as has been pointed out here several times. This is a referendum of how unpopular and polarizing Trump is it’s not A blue wave singling that America wants to become socialist. And again I think in 2022 you’re going to see the house flip back to the Republicans for that very reason. The Democrats that when their house seats benefited from large number of people coming out to vote against Trump just like in Florida some of the house seats that flipped benefited from a large number of people that hate the word socialism.
I think you can safely expect a contested election but you can probably bet that whoever is up and declared the winner in each state will likely win in the end. And that will likely be Biden. I hope the old guy can hang on for four years, LOL
I firmly believe this was a referendum on how some people truly hated Trump and not on how much they love the left leaning liberal democratic party. I expect some wholesale Republican victories in two years. In general people in the United States tend to lean conservative there’s just never been an election with a candidate like trump before. Well not as him as an income of that is.
