FWIW, for the “move on” crowd (mostly moderates) if you think electing desantis is going to “calm things down”, go read the replies. As I stated earlier, If Ron gets the nomination, he will be painted as more extreme than Trump.

BTW, there's long been a theory that the true plan to Make America Great Again wasn't about Trump.

It was about the President that comes AFTER Trump.

The theory goes that Trump's job is to basically be the wrecking ball. He comes in and demolishes the house, so we can find all the cockroaches and kill them, then we clean off all the trash and have a clean lot and then the new guy (or gal) comes in and builds the new 'house' free of cockroaches (corruption).

This is another reason why I don't think DeSantis will run in 2024. Because I believe he is slotted in the 'rebuild' slot that comes after Trump.
