Coronavirus officially passed heart disease as the leading causes of death in the United States at this time. It is the first time something has surpassed heart disease as leading cause of death in the United States in decades.

Oh I know this is a sports form but I thought it would be interesting to track this as it spreads throughout the United States. I will also use this thread to post updates or pertinent information that I might find helpful or useful to my friends here on the board provided this is OK with @Corey Bender.

Please understand that this changes by the hour and is updated frequently. Please also understand that this is a significant under representation of the probable actual number of cases both globally and in the United States because we don’t have enough test kits and several people with minor symptoms are not presenting for testing.

In my research over the last several days I have found that these two sites tend update the most frequently and seem to be the most accurate.
I am simply doing this as a way of updating and helping the people on here that I’ve known for several years that I feel a connection to through our love of the Florida gators. This is in no way meant to be a public service announcement, this website did not ask me to do this, they are welcome to delete this if they’d rather not have this on their board. Anything I say in here regarding advice on preventing the spread of this disease, symptomatology, treatment, or other recommendations, is strictly from me and are based off of all current available data and recommendations from the CDC as well as our own local resources here in Mississippi and my own medical expertise and opinion. They are in no way meant to reflect the opinions of this board or anybody affiliated with this board other than myself.
