College World Series thread

Dude we had General Admission tickets for the outfield bleachers. But there was no way I was fighting 5500 drunk cajuns to sit out there. We went inside when the gates opened 2 hours before game time and stood right behind the lower seats behind home plate. Since it was standing room only we were allowed to stay there the whole game until some LSU fans vacated seats in the 8th that were right on the front row.

With all of the attention to LSU fans who went to the CWS and out numbered Gator fans how pathetic was it in the 8th when what looked like 100's of their fans headed for the exits. I mean you traveled all the way to Omaha and you walk out in the 8th....To go where? Are you getting in the van and driving back to Baton Rouge? Probably not and you certainly didn't schedule a return flight at that time if you thought LSU could win. So no matter how many LSU fans went to Omaha your fan base doesn't look all that great when you're seen walking out in the 8th.

Blame it all on FEMA Liput, that guy can evacuate a stadium almost as fast at Phat-Phil Fulmer could....

A fun bit of trivia
Yesterday (as I'm sure you all know), UF beat LSU for its first ever Baseball CWS championship. The final play of the game was a ground ball thrown to 1st baseman, JJ Schwarz. https://twitter.com/...906123255500800

In 2014, UF beat Alabama for its first ever Softball CWS championship. The final play of the game was a ground ball thrown to first baseman, Taylor Schwarz, JJ's older sister. http://www.ncaa.com/...florida-alabama
