I hope you are right.....but it doesnt take the entire govt to be filled with gay atheists to have this happen. The majority are NOT Christian. There may be a slim majority of people may IDENTIFY as Christians. However, many of these people dont even believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. John McArthur did an exhaustive study on this. Our Christian population doesnt even know what makes a Christian a Christian.

They do. Their mommy and daddy told they were Christians when they were growing up, so they just stick with the label. For many, its just a label. I probably qualified as one of these in my earlier adult life. Raised a Christian, I have always used the label....even through decades of ZERO prayer, ZERO spiritual life......and plenty of whiskey bending, womanizing, bar brawling.....its a real thing.

My kids were told by Baptist kids at Young Life they couldn’t be Christians because Catholics weren’t Christians.

The problem is that narcissists routinely misuse this to deflect reasonable criticism. “If you disagree with me, you disagree with God, If you hate me, you hate God.”
If you listen to the first coupe of minutes of the video...we are talking about people who identify as Christian who don't believe that Christ is God, that there are other ways to the Father outside of Christ, that dont believe that the Bible is true. These are pretty basic, and if you dont believe these things, you arent a Christian. Im not talking about obscure doctrine here.

What I’m getting at are the people who think they are right because they think God told them so, and if you disagree with them, you are really disagreeing with God (often hyperbolically elevated into “if you disagree with me, you hate God”).

There are thousands of Christian denominations with conflicting interpretations of the Bible, not to mention the rest of humanity that follows completely different religions.

I take it too seriously? I cant turn the TV on without seeing rainbows in every ad, every sports event and show. Its in every store. The military adheres to it. Its everywhere. I think a lot of people take it seriously, on both sides
