Bye Planet Fitness

Hmmm, I’ve never seen a rainbow with teal, white, black and brown colors in it before.
Of course I’ve never found that proverbial “pot of gold” at the bottom of one either so there’s that.

It’s difficult to have a sensible discussion with religious fanatics due the Dunning-Kruger Effect. They are right. God told them so.
As opposed to trying to have a sensible discussion with someone who stereotypes anyone they disagree with as a way of rejecting their arguments?

This is why I told you in another thread that I could care less whether you believe me or not. What's coming will arrive with or without your approval.

Being a former gym guy (but not a rat in love with mirrors), I can say Planet Fitness is Gym-Lite for soccer moms. There is one less than a mile from my house and I visited it out of curiosity because of convenience. They sell cheap memberships and good for the masses and them. But it's not really a gym, zero free weights other than light dumb bells. If you aren't hard core into fitness then this gym is perfect for you. I am not knocking that. Age prompted me to give up my Bailey's membership, just decided I ain't trying to keep the old carcass up with the Jones's anymore, that ship has sailed and us old guys that got remarried don't need tinsel decorations. 😂

You must be under 55. 😂 I used to be pretty too. My current wife even told me so. That ship sailed 15 years ago. 😂

I am.

But I swear to Buddha that 99% of the time the mirror thing is about measuring results. The 1% is because I'm pretty. 😂

Fine, I may have those numbers reversed but those are in fact the numbers. 🤣

I have no reason to doubt you. I just remembering detesting the metal heads in their leotards and their gaze upon the rocks where the self indulgent sirens crashed their ships on the rocks. I used to snicker endlessly. The more external roid juice, the smaller the bat. 😂

I was an FSU girl with blonde hair and I belonged to one of the “good” sororities.
Of course I had it going on. 😉
Just curious. Were you in school when when Ted Bundy hit town? I think you are a couple of years older than me. That terrified the women I graduated with from HS who went to FSU. That was majorly effed up.

No I was gone by then. Thank heavens

Good to hear.
So graduated in the mid-1970s?
I graduated HS in 1974. This happened when I was a senior in college but I had female friends who went to FSU that knew the girls who got slaughtered in Tallahassee as well. It was not good times.

Then you should know your sin is no better than their sin. If your faith matched your artificial moral high ground you'd pray for them, witness to them, not shun them. Sin is the enemy, not the sinners.
One sin is no better than the other, I agree with this. I am a sinner, and my sins are no better than the gays. However, I am not PROUD of my sins. I did not celebrate my sins, I repent. These people are proud of it, and they want to engage in their sinfulness in front of children. They want to invite children to join them in their sinfulness. I dont hate them, I pity them. If they insist on being public about their queerness, they SHOULD be shunned.

Correct. @BigRedGator78 you can't have it both ways.

I believe that the Book of Romans discusses the 3 stages of God's judgement of a wayward culture. The first stage is sexual immorality ( think 1960s free love / sex revolution ). Check. The second stage is men laying with men and women with women. Check. Finally, stage 3 is God turns them over to the depraved mind. ( think chestfeeders / and men having periods ). Network TV having Sam Smith do a homo devil worship act. Disney Cinderfella. Look around.

I am a conservative republican, and I was raised to believe in capitalism and free markets.....however, these markets do not care about values and so forth, they care about $$$. As the culture decays, the markets will reflect it and feed it. Our system ( govt and economy ) is only for a moral and just culture...it is totally unfit for what we are now

And what does Lot say to the men that come to his house and want to have sex with male angels? He tells them to stop this WICKED behavior.

So the Bible is quite clear that homosexuality is a sin in the eyes of God. If you don't want to follow God or the Bible, that's on you.

But what things like 'Pride Month' do is not only reject that homosexuality is a sin, but instead attempts to reframe it as something to be CELEBRATED.

That's why there is pushback. It's got nothing to do with Christians, it has everything to do with people wanting to engage in behavior that many find sinful, AND openly promote that behavior as being worth celebrating.

When you do that, you open yourself to criticism from people that don't agree with you. Simply as that.

I think this is it. The promotion of this lifestyle, along with other efforts like no fault divorce, modern feminism on so on is designed ( by the devil ) to break down the traditional nuclear family. The nuclear family is an institution of God. As the nuclear family goes, so goes the culture. Look around

This is naive.
No, that's factual.

Being proud of your sexual orientation is strange. You have no more control over it than you do your gender or your skin color. But there's a toothless united in a trailer park, probably where Ghost lives, that thinks he's better than me simply for that reason.

Supporting the rounding up of Jew's, or Christians, or whoever, or being silent while watching others do it is evil.

The two are not remotely the same, and equating that they do is lunacy.

They didn't START with rounding them up. I am a practicing Catholic. The Justice Dept. has admitted to placing informants into the Catholic church. The DOJ has done their work to label us extremists or tie us to a "Christian Nationalism" or whatever. It seems to me that they are lining up the domino's. I would love to have egg on my face on this....but I think they are coming for the Christian. When they trigger their mouse trap, it will be done under the guise of protecting the gays. The gays will celebrate it.

This way lies madness. Unless the government is composed entirely of gay atheists, Christianity is still the majority religion of this country. It's not feasible from a logistical standpoint.

I'm not saying it isn't possible, the Waco raid was a test case.

But it isn't happening this century.
