Not sure FSU is all that great on offense either to be honest. Better than last year yes but once Boise made some adjustment their offense was just as bad as last year.

FSU is really soft and their off season conditioning and strength & conditioning program sucks. The entire team looked gassed. It should have been the other way around.

I would agree if we had been able to maintain some offensive flow in the second half. I don’t think we got to 50 yards in the second half. A true freshman just hung 40 points on our home field. The D is soft and not well coached and the offense CAN play but that second half does not look promising at all. We were non competitive in the second half. Boise is good but we have no excuses looking that bad after dominating the first the way we did

Not sure you really dominated the first half. Boise St was going up and down the field as well. You were scoring TDs they were kicking FGs. Boise St is not a bad team but they do have a true freshmen QB.

Yup...we were dominant on the offensive side of the ball, but take away the turnovers and it would have been 31-31, Big 12 style going into the half. They gutted us up the middle and their O-line is legit.

You are right. I wasn’t specific. 400 yards of offense in one half is dominant but yeh I said from the jump our D had me worried. Anyways, the O barely moving in the second half after their dominance in the first is kind of frightening.

Didn't get to watch the game, but as I read about it, FSU was up 31 points in the first 20 minutes of the game, then completely folded and scored nothing the rest of the way.

To me, a team that quits and doesn't keep fighting to the very end IS embarrassing. You can lose 50-0, but as long as you don't quit, that's ok. The only truly embarrassing things in sports are quitters, and those teams that wear red and black.

It's been more than 7 years since I listened to his show along with Frank Frangie and their fat ass 3rd wheel, David Lamm. Wow! Just nights and weekends? I could only take so much of Ballou talking about porn on his radio show. Frangie, for the past 10 years has been nothing but a Nole sympathizer. Thank goodness for Sirius XM radio.

After Ballou's contract expires, maybe some radio station in Tallahassee will be dumb enough to hire him.
