Just an update from many things discussed earlier in this thread. I have a very good friend who bought the Tesla Plaid about a year and a half ago. He was the Chaparral boat dealer at Adventure Marine here in FWB. He just took a 95k loss on that car. Had 4000 miles on it. So when DMF comes back, I TOLD YOU SO!

As much as I appreciate Elon and what he did in 2024, I am unlikely to buy a Tesla-S. I am in the market for a 4 door sedan to replace my 2014 A7, and am looking at some 2022 and 2023 cars from Carvana. My most likely pick? A BMW 8 Series Grand Coupe. Gorgeous car and impeccable German engineering.

I also happen to like the Jeep Wagoneer - all electric.

The key dynamic here is CHOICE.

My brother and sister-in-law, LOVE their Tesla S and have had zero issues with it. They also have Tesla Solar Panels and Walls. Closed loop powering of home and cars. Awesome for them.

The key here is choice.
