In 2006, when Florida played Bama in the Swamp, sadgator had the misfortune of sitting smack dab in the middle of the Alabama folks...Section 45 or so. There was a rather large Bama Chick seated directly in front of sadgator. This obnoxiously rude chick, who sadgator and his posse affectionately refer to as "Fat Back" hated sadgator. Perhaps it was sadgator screaming directly into her ear for the majority of the game, or perhaps it was sadgator's fascination with (and threats to confiscate) her lucky pom pom that created such animosity between us...we will never know...however, she and the other lovely Bama chicks sadgator got the chance to visit with up close and personal on that day left a lasting impression on sadgator...which he is certain was reciprocal for them.
As for this game...logic (and every objective measure there is) tells you that we will be destroyed. It seems like there is literally no hope whatsoever. Bama is totally coming to party on our asses. That said, sadgator cannot shake the feeling that we might have a game in us. Perhaps it is just blind optimism more than anything else, but sadgator thinks we are gonna leave it all on the table and put up a solid fight. In the end, Bama will probably pull a long run or a special teams play out of their butt (which they almost always do) to put it away, but sadgator thinks we are going to make them (and the entire country) sweat longer than they would like...
