Auburn @ UF

You are seriously bragging about finishing in 3rd place in what is almost universally perceived as the shitty or weaker division of the SEC. That is straight hilarious. Meanwhile Auburn has won every championship given out in college football more recently than Florida
umm UF finished 7th in the nation last year. Where was Auburn ranked?

Really you make this way way too easy.

Yet Auburn is better than Florida in most every category historically including winning percentage. The only time Florida has been consistently good is under Spurrier. Even Urbie had his ups and downs.
.
Auburn also has more undefeated seasons in the last 10 or 15 years than Florida does in their entire pathetic history

NCs are all that is important at UF. Fly those division banners proudly, homie. LMAO!!

You are GREEN with envy................

Accept the fact that the Gators are DONE! You will not win a SEC championship in the next 30 years.

List the Lac 10 school(s) that's made the CFP's the last 2 years.... o_O

And I noticed that you're to ignorant (or just to chickenshit) to answer the question about which SEC school has the longest current winning streak (8)... -- Typical for a troll....

You're clueless, a troll, and worst of all, you're boring.... ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz

Still waiting for this mouth-foamer troll to answer those 2 simple questions...

And oh BTW,,,
• Florida has been a top-10 team in 6 of the last 7 AP Polls,
How bout your losers?
* Florida has scored 24+ points in 8 straight games, but not loser/choker Allbarn...
* Florida has thrown for 300+ yards in 3 consecutive games, (2 were SEC), using 3 different QB's to do so.

Look, I know that past beatdowns UF gave your team, (fill in the blank), must have been humiliating and even belittling at times. It is hard to impress your women, when the teams you support should be wearing tutus.

BUT, being the nice guy I am, I will go out on a limb and AGREE with you in that UF will not win A SEC championship. Instead we will win SEVERAL is my prediction.

See how easy that was. Like ohsfandipstick high school fan, you are a troll and a very bad one at that...

This is laughable considering I have seen dozens or hundreds of fans who have sworn to never return to your shit stadium because of the redneck behavior of your own fans. Not just Auburn fans in that group either

You don't know that many people, much less college football fans. Or are you counting cows?

Speaking of how nobody thinks Florida is any good, a computer formula cooked up by ESPN says Oregon still has a better chance of making the playoffs than Florida does even after their loss to Auburn

And I bet you can't figure out why that would be. Because you've proven to be very smart.

Quit trying to ride the coat-tails of Alabama!
What a weird thing for an Auburn fan to do.

If you can't win the SEC title (see 2017), does it matter which division an SEC team resides in?
Alabama has been the only SEC-W team that has been winning SEC titles lately (winners of the last 4 SEC titles in five years) so what does it matter for an Auburn fan?

Until some other SEC team can de-throne Alabama, none of the other SEC teams are worth a hill of beans including Auburn, LSU, Georgia, etc.

Georgia won the SEC in 2017 but we Gators don't brag about being from the SEC-E.

How did 2004 turn out for Auburn?
Did you win anything for that effort? Lol!

As a Florida fan, I am still enjoying that 1993 SEC Championship!
Didn't Auburn go undefeated (11-0) that year? How nice for Auburn. Yeah!

When Auburn comes to Gainesville for our Homecoming Oct 5, I think Florida will be honoring our 1993-1996 SEC Championship teams!

Last year, Florida finished in the top 10 under a first year coach!

Unlike Auburn(8-5) in the 2018 season, Florida (10-3) finished #6 (Coach's)/7 (AP) while being able to defeat LSU & Michigan who were two top 10 teams last year and were also pre-season top 10 teams this year!

Another common opponent that Florida beat last year was Mississippi St who Auburn lost to last year which began your team's slide.

Finally, Auburn lost to Tennessee last year; a team that the Gators have consistently defeated 14 out of 15 years. So, if I were you, I would shut the hell up about the 'weak' SEC-E if your team can't get the job done like Florida can.

Oh, another thing.
Last year, Tennessee's best wins under Pruitt were Kentucky and Auburn.
Compared to Auburn, the Kentucky win was the better win since the wild cats finished 10-3 (their best season since the mid 1970s), ranked #11/12 and also won their bowl game over Penn St.

I hate to repeat myself, but so? Grommit is a moron about like 99 percent of the Florida posters on this site, but at least another internet dork agrees with you about something

Fantastic coping mechanisms, btw.
You are certifiable!

An Oregon team Auburn has already beaten has better odds of winning the national championship than Florida does according to ESPN
This article? You should look closer. (Chance to win title: 0.8% (UF) > 0.6% (UO) )
The percentages reflect each team's status heading into Week 5, so the numbers will change continuously with the season.

https://www.espn.com/college-footba...19/the-12-teams-make-college-football-playoff

12. Florida Gators
i
Chance to make playoff: 6.6%
Chance to win title: 0.8%

11. Oregon Ducks
i
Chance to make playoff: 7%
Chance to win title: 0.6%

=============================================
9. Auburn Tigers
i
Chance to make playoff: 15%
Chance to win title: 2.1%

A 2.1% chance to win the title is like basically saying Auburn can't win the National title either! lol!

Auburn needs to capitalize on home games against teams it is expected to beat, because ESPN's FPI gives the Tigers less than a 50% chance to win against Florida, LSU, Georgia and Alabama.

Auburn plays on the road against Florida and LSU
while hosting Georgia & Alabama.

Auburn will probably lose all four of those games!

On the other hand, Florida will have a chance to make a statement by defeating Auburn
while also improving their chances to make the play-offs.

Of the three toughest games left for UF (Auburn, at LSU, Georgia (neutral)), Auburn is the easiest for the Gators to win!

I’m sure “goodwill ambassadors” like yourself take your pleasant and even-keeled attitude to the streets to represent Auburn well.

Last year MSU ran all over them, so Auburn was hyped up for a revenge game. Can they be emotionally high two weeks in a row? Teams normally can't. I think Auburn will be flat next week.
They looked good tonight for sure. But it's easy to get rolled on the road these days. People forget how hard it is to go on the road in conference and get Ws.

There are still many more SEC-E vs SEC-W games left. It's just getting started.
Out of fourteen inter-conference match-ups, it's SEC-E: 0 & SEC-W: 3

Florida: Auburn, at LSU
Missouri: Ole Miss, at Arkansas
Georgia: at Auburn, Texas A&M
Tennessee: Miss St, at Alabama

S.Carolina: Alabama (L), at Texas A&M
Kentucky: at Miss St (L), Arkansas
Vanderbilt: LSU (L), at Ole Miss

Right now, the East's strongest teams appear to be Missouri, Florida & Georgia.
Missouri is playing two of the weaker SEC-W teams which could be an advantage over UF & Georgia.

Florida's success in the 90's is not any more relevant to today than the 60's. Florida fans don't care about the 60's or before because they didn't have any success during that time. Most people would say Florida isn't that great today and hasn't been that great for a decade or longer
That is just FALSE!
Since the 1980s, Florida has won more NC's and SEC titles than Auburn in every decade except for the 2010's (see below). Incidentally, the 2010s has one more season left which is the current 2019 season. Florida still has the opportunity to pick up some more hardware!;)

As for Auburn's "extra wins" that plays a significant role in the overall winning percentage, I don't care how many more extra wins that Auburn had over the usual "country bumpkin teams" that AU invites to play on their cow pastures field that AU calls their stadium. In their NON-CONFERENCE season, Auburn doesn't play anyone remotely close to what Florida does every season: Florida State (1958-2019) & Miami (1938-1987).

Florida vs Auburn (thru the decades):

---- UF's wins ---AU wins--------------------------------------------------
2010s: 0 - 1 (Advantage Auburn: 1 NC > 0; 2 SEC titles > 0)
2000s: 3 - 3 (Advantage Florida: 2 NC's > 0; 3 SEC titles > 1)
1990s: 8 - 2 (Advantage Florida: 1 NC > 0; 6 SEC titles > 0)
1980s: 5 - 5 (Adv Florida: 1 NC (NY Times/Sporting News) > 0)
1970s: 5 - 5 Even
=====================================
Except for the great 1990s, Florida & Auburn have played 0.500 ball against each other.
The main difference comes in the form of winning hardware which enormously favors the GATORS!

--- SEC Titles --- National Titles ----------------
2010's:
UF SEC titles (0): _(To be determined!)
AU SEC titles (2): '10, '13

UF NC's: 0
AU NC's (1): 2010

-----------------------------------------------------------
2000s:
UF SEC titles (3): '00, '06, '08
AU SEC titles (1): '04

UF NC's (2): 2006 & 2008

1980s:
UF SEC titles (2): '84, '85

(two others were shared in '88, '89 w/LSU, Tenn & AL) <-- if you can't win it out-right,...
UF NC's (1): 1984 NY Times & Sporting News NC!
AU NC's: 0

This Week is HOMECOMING with #9 UF vs the #7 Barn.
~~ Announced last August -- SOLD OUT

Biggest Question -- How many of the injured players will be 100% healthy and ready to go???
Projected: CB Henderson-SDE Zuniga-S Davis-S Taylor-LB Miller--WR/PR Swain-WR-RB Toney.
So, the Gator's new 'Magnificent Seven' should all be back and ready to go. ;)

"Once we get everybody back, get the chemistry back and go back to playing the way we were in camp, we're going to be really good," graduate-transfer BUCK Jonathan Greenard (LB/DE) said.

1. Throwback unis from Spurrier's 1960's.
Trivia Trask is the 1st Gator starting QB to wear 11 since SOS.
~ White Helmet with Block F - Blue Jersey - White Pants - Black Shoes

2. ESPN Game Day will be in Gainesville.
3. The game is the CBS 3:30 PM 'Game of the Week.'

A - Can the Gator's primarily passing offense score enough to win the game?
B - Can the defense keep the Barn's mostly running game scoring below that of the Gator's offense.
=====

On the lighter side....

Towson Tigers
Auburn Tigers
LSU Tigers
Missouri Tigers
Looks like a bit of an over-load on the striped pussies this season... :D

Sorry if facts bother you. Auburn was beating Texas A&M 21-3 at the end of the third quarter. Look up the box score.

Oregon qb is named Justin Herbert. Google his name and you will find plenty of information about him being a first round draft pick
A&M looked like a great squad against Arky.

UF Season Game Trivia...

With All SEC CB Henderson and SDE Zuniga out, UF is still #3 SEC in Total Def.(17). -- While Auburn is #6 SEC in Total Def. (33).

UF 's Def is giving up just.8.8 Pts/Gm, 14.7 Pts/Gm vs 3 Power-5's
83 - 0 combined vs the two FCS teams
87 - 44 combined vs UK, Tn, and Miami.

#1 UF DBU - Interceptions made: Opp Pass Att 148, 9 Intercepted.
#1 UF Opp RZ Att 13, 5 scores, 1 R-TD, 2 P-TD's, 2 FG's.
#2 UF Sacks 24
#7 UF TFL 45

Since Trask entered @ UK in the 3rd quarter, the Gator D has only given up a 40 yd FG.
QB Kyle Trask broke (17) and set a new UF's Consecutive Completion record by throwing 18 (3 Tn + 15 Towson).

Week 1 SEC DL PoW - BUCK J.Greenard (LB-WDE)
Week 5 SEC DL PoW - BUCK J.Moon (LB-WDE)

Florida has allowed -1 punt return yards on the season.
That’s the best among Power 5 teams. (Townsend's 44 yd net punting)
That's on only 3 fielded punts, not many punts and few of those are fielded.

~ While Auburn, on the other hand, is 3rd-worst among Power 5 teams in punt return defense.
Swain and/or Hammond should have a chance for a good day on punt returns.

It's a pick-um game with the betting now trending slightly towards an AU win.
I'm just going to relax and enjoy watching the game,,, and GoooooGATORS!
I'll leave the wild & craziness for those young enough to have some fun with it....
