I attended the game in 1990, we won with ease, and leaving the stadium, we altered the traditional chant to "It's great, to beat, the shit out of Auburn."

Good times.
 
5 bucks says the kid tosses a game winning TD with under 30 seconds left...(and sadgator is gonna be there to see it play out live)...it is almost certain that the situation will at least present itself....

I attended the game in 1986, when Kerwin Bell, who was not supposed to play due to a knee injury, hobbled onto the field in the 4th quarter wearing a knee brace while we were down 17-0. He was not having any of that mess.

He promptly led us to 18 unanswered points, running in the final 2 point conversion himself, running over some sad sack Auburn linebacker in the process of securing the win.

Good times.

sadgator and his father actually lit an Auburn flag on fire and let it go up in flames in the middle of the East Stands near the conclusion of that game and everyone cheered...no attempt to stop it or enforce the law at all....

Those were the days.

If the game were at Auburn, I would believe you. Weird stuff happens up there. Like the year we took a Danny Wuerfful team into the game that was primed to beat the stuffing out of them, only to have a three hour front blow in with 30 mph winds, destroying the passing games and leveling the playing field. Then it let up right at the end of the game, just in time for Auburn to kick the winning field goal.

I went to Jordan Hare as well and we beat them with Noah Brindise and Palmer at QB. Our defense was stout and Kearse and crew just continued to kill Dameyune Craig. I think that was the game Jacquez Green ran for a TD, caught a TD and threw a TD. Something crazy think like that.

I flew into the LSU game last year from Reno, NV area...took my daughter to the game before she went to boot camp into the Marines, never thought we would win, we did..came from behind. I've been to quite a few games and have been a season ticket holder...the best game I've ever been to was when we played FSU and beat them 13-9 I think around '91...Shane Matthews was our guy....Casey Weldon was theirs...it was awesome. I was in the South end zone. If we start winning in our house again we will win the SEC and another Big one.

Nothing like going to the game...I believe in Mullen. Even if we don't win, it would be awesome to be there and I'm just glad that it's exciting again. #gators

Its usually the same formula when it comes to beating a Gus/Auburn team. Its staying disciplined in gap control, disciplined with assignments on defense and TACKLING. He loves misdirection with speed and auburn is always good at stretching defenses and getting you in bad positions. Getting pressure on the QB is not exactly the recipe to beating a Gus team. Nix might not have great statistics but he does just enough to get your respect which opens up the field for guys like Schwartz (fastest WR in SEC). I like our chances if we play disciplined football on defense and we can control time of possession on offense because auburn loves hurry up and that's only effective when you are getting a lot of first downs. I do believe offensively we are better with Trask at QB. He just seems way more in sync with everyone and his quick decisions in the passing game has proven to be effective.

14-9. That game, and the ‘94 East Regional Final v. Boston College in Miami Arena were the two greatest live sport watching experiences in sadgator’s life. 14-9 gets overshadowed because the first FSU-Miami wide right game played out before it did, but for those who attended that game, we know what it meant and how it felt that day.

Yet the game has already come up for discussion on several SEC boards I post on and even the neutral fans like LSU, Georgia, and Alabama think Florida isn't any good and Auburn will kick their ass. Part of the reason the responses in this thread are so laughable

Florida won the SEC championship 4 straight years in a row, I'm not quite sure even Alabama has done that during the divisional era.

And no, the divisional era in the SEC is not a very selectable time frame, unless perhaps you're a has been program like Tennessee who lives for the old black and white glory days. It is the general metric all SEC fanbases use in discussions regarding the so called "modern" era in football with regards to the SEC. Before the divisional era and the SEC championship game, the rules were completely different and there were fewer teams as well so those stats don't really translate over well against what teams have accomplished within the current system.
 
Florida's success in the 90's is not any more relevant to today than the 60's. Florida fans don't care about the 60's or before because they didn't have any success during that time. Most people would say Florida isn't that great today and hasn't been that great for a decade or longer

Most people would say Auburn is about the 5th or 6th best program in the SEC behind UF, Alabama, LSU & UGA.

Auburn is the team that didn’t finish in the top 25 last year and has a coach on the hot seat. Not any of those other programs listed above.

You are seriously bragging about finishing in 3rd place in what is almost universally perceived as the shitty or weaker division of the SEC. That is straight hilarious. Meanwhile Auburn has won every championship given out in college football more recently than Florida

On Defense, iF ALL of our personnel are healthy (with or without Cox), I would take our D over yours. Dlines even...UF better secondary. Advantage UF

ON Offense, I give your running game and Oline an advantage over ours. Passing about the same. Nix is a rookie. There was only ONE Bo at Auburn I ever feared. Advantage..Aubarn

Special teams...I like ours...skilled punter and FG kicker...Advantage UF

Intangibles: UF home field and rested...

Prediction: Low scoring, UF by 10...

You had ONE good year, sonny. We won multiple NCs prior. We even juiced it up by throwing in a couple of hoops NCs. Your overall program is shit in athletics comparatively speaking..
 
An Oregon team Auburn has already beaten has better odds of winning the national championship than Florida does according to ESPN

Yet Auburn is better than Florida in most every category historically including winning percentage. The only time Florida has been consistently good is under Spurrier. Even Urbie had his ups and downs.

Auburn also has more undefeated seasons in the last 10 or 15 years than Florida does in their entire pathetic history
