As an aside to your post, I hear what you were saying about separating politics and sports and that seems to be a pretty individual thing.

For a while, I was really tweaked at the NFL for trying to jam the racism narrative down our throats along with this Black Lives Matter hoax, and I started not to care very much about something that I had cared a lot about in the past.. I finally determined that since I like football a lot, I am going to continue to watch football and ignore the other stuff since I didn't do anything wrong. I don't feel the need to punish myself and deprive myself of something I enjoy. I would imagine that everybody makes their own peace in their own way.

That said, I will still not watch the NBA until I get a personal apology for the Black Lives Matter hoax, and full disclosure. I am not holding my breath, haha ...

I detest the NBA, it's nothing but a hyped up version of the Harlem Globetrotters. It's a shell of it's former self. They don't allow players to play defense anymore, teams change players like underwear. There are far too many games. More is less. It's unwatchable. That being said, Tim Tebow could play in the WBA, and I still wouldn't watch. 😂

Fresno, the business end, the accounting structure, and who's actually in charge and making the $$$ decisions is not an area that I have any knowledge of, nor any interest in. I'm just a basketball fan that likes watching the best in the game, like a Larry Legend or the Caitlin Effect....

Just a FYI, I've never watched a WNBA game live. I have only watched utube highlights of both Larry and Caitlin. It's kinda like watching Olympic Sports in years past. I didn't ever watch or go to winter sports events, but I'd watch the best in the Olympics and enjoyed it.

I find it at least laughable that a failing business model would be expanded like this. I'm a big lacrosse fan. I played in college and I played club lacrosse. The professional leagues, although extremely talented do not make money but they do about breakeven. I think I'm wondering how much longer they can continue and I really don't pay much attention because of that. ...

Clark has a charisma that the others never displayed.

She is in the right place, at the right time, with the skill set and the personality to become the sensation that she is. The white haters, like Taurasi, are just jealous.

The other haters are mad that the first female with the popularity of a Jordan is white and straight.

Whatever her politics are she should take a page from Jordan and keep to herself. After all, republicans by tennis shoes too.

Really, the haters are just such a small portion of all of the player in the WNBA that they really don't count for much. Unless this was a publicity plan from the beginning, it will likely disappear fairly soon.

Until is does, it will mostly just amuse me. CC is already at a point financially that she could retire and go golfing and styling for the rest of her life if that's what she wanted to do. But that's unlikely, because she has a solid hook into Pro B-Ball now and so she can control what she needs to until she's ready to move on to something else.
