So, both rookies have their first TD pass! Both for Houston!

One wonders where all the FSU fans are that insisted, INSISTED that Winston was more NFL ready than Mariotta.
The funny part is there were a lot of people who didn't see this coming. Said it all offseason, Winston was a great college QB but I didn't like his game at the next level at all. That long windup he has gives DB's too much time to jump routes and he's one of the worst athletes drafted at QB in more than a decade. I was shocked people thought he was a better prospect than Mariota. Mariota is a far superior athlete, great football IQ, and near flawless mechanics. But system blah, blah, blah.
Mariota owns Jameis. Jameis owns UF. I'm cool with that.

No doubt, tried to find a UF QB but there wasn't any
I'm shocked there are people who are reading this much in to the two QBs after this one game. They're both very good. Mariota had a huge advantage......he got to play against the Bucs defense.
Little brother is more into winning which we are against you and U.
It's one game
You're right. He's suddenly going to stop running a 5.04 by next week and/or stop dropping the ball to his knees in his wind up. What was I thinking.
I tell you what, even though it is off topic for this thread, I will show you some compassion, and give you what you so desperately seek:So typical in your world but not in the "real world".
The larger point, which people are missing is this. We were told that Jamies was soooooooo much better than Mariota that he deserved the first overall pick, despite the character issues. Sure, things may turn out OK, but the process has pissed off a lot of fans. The stadium was packed yesterday, and the Bucs have been pumping us a lot of sunshine ever since the pick was made, and the result on the field was garbage, while the other guy, that the jamie lovers kept saying was not NFL ready, and was a product of the system, showed him up, again, and big time.
Did he show Jameis up or did he show the Bucs defense up?? I must have missed where Jameis was playing defense.
Still downplaying Mariota...so typical of the jamie jock sniffers.....I see, the worst teams in the league from last year both start their new rookie QBs....one guy sucks, its not his fault, the other does amazing, but he didn't really do anything. *sigh*
