Anyone Watching These Hearings Today

Troll 🚨

The two biggest liberal clowns on the board want everyone to engage in a debate about the biggest partisan liberal clown show of all.
I don't want you to do anything. I actually prefer if you stay away but you can't because you need attention.

Your one of the reasons I quit debating idiocy. Not worth it because logic and reasoning cannot change minds anymore. You socialist are out of control.
I don't even know who you are. You're not someone I remember.

I love when the Trumpes have no counter arguments they just resort to name calling.

It’s a sign of weakness.

Gotta love the Trumpers ITT.

It wasn’t an insurrection.
It was but it was all Antifa
It was all Pelosi’s fault.
Poor little woman who breaks into a federal building and gets shot

This is why I can’t leave this place. It truly is a cult.
You can't leave because because you can't withdraw because you lost 6 times the initiative and understand that there is no consequence for losing your ass, having both your flanks and rear destroyed, you enjoy more fake positions with no bloodshed other than embarrassing the fvck out of yourself. We would call you a Monday morning general.....perhaps you should do some side commission work with the General. 🤣 Our village idiot is once again pointed into the corner.

Just guessing you like your ass gaped while the Dimtards shove another dildo up your wazoo? Do you enjoy it or just insist it's your duty to be a cuck that hates America and now do you admit state's rights didn't go the correct way in 1865? Inquiring minds, want to know. o_O

LMAO...you are such a little liar.

No one, at least not on this board or anywhere that I've ever heard, is saying that Pelosi was in charge of Capitol Police on the 6th. That is a read-herring argument so they can fact check something that no one is saying.

And my facts are dead on balls accurate. The Sargeant-at-Arms (SAA) is in charge of security at the Capitol and he reported to Nancy Pelosi.

Spin (and no doubt lie) from there how you see fit but those are cold hard facts. As a sheep the media are spoon feeding you something that you don't fully understand and you are merely parroting what they're saying...but dude, they're telling you a half truth. Use your God given sense and look at it. She wasn't in charge of Capitol Police or even security, but sure AF she was the SAA's boss and she was in the chain of command before, during and after January 6th.

No you have been defending Jan 6th.

And I did that by saying that everyone who entered the Capitol should be arrested? I did that by saying that I too probably would have shot Babbitt?

Are you just straight up retarded or do you just not even try to read replies? I wish I could help you read.

You are playing both sides to try to down play it. You're trying to be the well everyone wasn't bad or everyone wasn't violent. Like I said earlier, what difference does it make? Everyone in the capital that day broke the law. Just like with BLM/Antifa, anyone who walked into a looted store broke the law,, whether they took something or not.. To even start a debate with @BSC911 or myself over this, is a sign of defending. That's my point, you don't have to directly say you support them but you definitely are dropping hints. I'm so tired of this I didn't say it directly bs. We all know you can imply something without saying it and that's what you did and you're doing. You're clearly siding with the Trumpers on this 'besides a few bad apples, it was peaceful". Why would a cop take sides with people who hurt cops is imaginable. Did you listen to those cops today? They definitely don't think it was a few bad apples.

As a liberals liberal, you are simply telling me how you feel.

And how you feel is in no way connected to what I actually said. You are a huge waste of time, comically so.

I love it when a narcissist MFer like you tries to tell me how I really feel. You'd have to be an arrogant SOB to believe that...x1,000 given that I've literally said the opposite.

GFY @kalimgoodman , you're lying and everyone who reads shit like this knows it. Final warning from me...say some crap like that again and I'll just put your sorry ass on ignore.

That is exactly what the Republicans are saying and I pointed that out. They are lying to people and saying Pelosi is to blame for the lack of security, when she's not in charge. You replied making it seem like she was. Like always, you guys repeat talking points, then play victim like "we aren't saying it directly". You are insinuating/implying that Pelosi is to blame.

Well, clearly he is in fact a troll. It's not name calling, it's identifying.

If you say blue 15 times in an argument but I continually accuse you of saying red, never blue, I'm either actually retarded or I'm a troll.

Don't get me wrong, the dude ain't super bright but he isn't completely thick either. That leaves troll.

She was in charge dufus.

SAA runs all security at the Capitol (and in the Senate fwiw). The SAA reports directly to the House Majority Leader. That was Nancy Pelosi.

Holy crap. She wasn't running security, she was merely in charge of the man who was...meaning yes, she holds blame. The requests for help on January 6th ran through her office and through the Pentagon.

You do a great job of implying stuff without saying it. Yes you did say that you would have probably shot Babbitt, yes you said that the people should have arrested. Then you go into these talking points about some people were good or just walking, Pelosi is to blame, Republicans people should be on the committee. See how you're trying to play both sides?

Yet at no point did you say I just want answers to see how my fellow officers got hurt. You care more about the politics then the investigation into how the cops were put into that situation and what led to them being in that situation.

I have said plenty of times, I don't care who's on the committee. I just want an investigation because attacking the capital, treating congress and attacking police officers is something I'll never support or imply I support.

That has been debunked. It's a board that runs it. Not one person. Check your facts.

Well who could possibly know what I meant better than you? Certainly not me, right?

You think you know. You're also FOS.

Then you go into these talking points about some people were good or just walking,

Literally never said "some people were good." You just made that up. Liars lie.

Some people were walking. I also pointed out that they were breaking the law as they did so. The point that you clearly missed was that I said not all of them were violent. Because they clearly were not. Some were though.

Pelosi is to blame,

Never said that either. You can't read.

I do believe that she shares SOME of the blame. The point you missed here was that I was rebuffing what you and @BSC911 were saying...that she had nothing to do with security...which is factually incorrect.

She still does btw. She was the one making sure people got fined for not wearing masks and for House Members having their legally owned firearms.

😂

I have checked and rechecked them. The SAA reports to the House Minority Leader. The same arrangement applies in the Senate.

Maybe you should check your facts.

From politifact, which isn't a conservative bastion...

  • The House sergeant-at-arms reports to the House speaker, or Pelosi at the time of the attack. The Senate sergeant-at-arms reports to the Senate majority leader — on Jan. 6, Sen. Mitch McConnell.

It also disproves a lot of claims that no one else is actually making like that the Capitol Police worked for Pelosi. No one said that. Or that "only Pelosi is responsible for the Capitol Police's failure" which is also not something people are actually saying.

SAA reports to Pelosi, period. Facts for you...

I didn't bring up the sergeant of arms you did. I said security of the capital isn't ran by Pelosi, it's ran by a board that includes Pelosi and Mitch. You keep mentioning the Sergeant of Arms as if I am debating them. You're debating yourself about that position. I'm talking the security overall. Your link even called it "mostly false". So idk.

Like I said, you're playing the "I didn't directly say it" game. So you can imply it then question how do I know what you're thinking game. Everyone does it on certain topics and you're doing it now. Everyone knows what youre doing and that's why the hard right on this board having attacked you this topic and it's why you replied to the "liberals". Your dog whistle is louder than you think. It is what it is. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Hate to tell you this but Pelosi is not in charge of the security. Thats a right wing talking point that the right was sure that it believers wouldn't actually check for themselves.
That is where you are wrong. The Speaker of the Houseis in charge. The Sergeant at Arms of the House, under the direction of the Speaker, is responsible for security, along with the U.S. Capitol Police. After the storming of the building, the chief of the Capitol Police resigned under pressure, according to The New York Times, and the sergeants-at-arms of the Senate and House resigned from their posts. SHE, Pelosi, refused the offered help of the National Guard because she thought it would be bad optics.

"I'm not debating your facts that prove I lied. I am debating the lie I made up."

That's every thread @kalimgoodman has ever posted in here, in a nutshell.

Spot on. Here it is:

1. Change the subject to a lie (usually so outrageous that folks cannot help themselves)
2. Now everyone is off topic discussing the topic (the lie), so that the subject is no longer the subject

This is what tells everyone he is a liberal, and has serious character issues….but that is a staple of libs.

And he always tries to deflect off a topic when it makes the dems look bad.

Notice he doesn't want to discuss how the DC mayor said they didn't need extra security prior to the 'inserrection', he doesn't want to talk about Pelosi being in charge of security, he doesn't want to talk about antifa dressing as Trump supporters and breaching the capitol.

He wants to talk about how Trump told everyone to go destroy the capitol to protest a stolen election.

Which is a lie. And that's why he wants to talk about it.

Have no idea why anyone here would debate him or entertain him as being anything other than a trolling liar.

Am happy to see that almost no one is left that will talk to him. Good.

See, this is what we’re talking about. Who GAF about the Sargent at Arms? This thread is about the people that attacked the capitol and you spend most of your time talking about secondary matters. I don’t know if you do it intentionally, or are just trying to save face with the Trumpers, but it’s very obvious.

who was the SAA during 9/11? Should we focus on that guy as well?

Thats not true. Already been debunked. It's ran by a chair, not one person. The SOA's just carries out the mission and Mitch is apart of the board too. Sometimes you need to investigate things yourself. This republican talking point failed you and this comes from a person that can't stand Pelosi, so trust that i am not defending her. I am just being honest.

Yeah they definitely took this everywhere else. I get why because talking about what actually happen is bad for the Trumpers.

Ghost I had some faith in you sheesh
Ghost is trolling. He doesn't think it was Antifa. He thinks that some people were (in his mind) rightly outraged and went too far.

The individuals who breached the capital should indeed be prosecuted. That is happening.

What Pelosi is doing is political theater. She has done it for decades, and to a point is quite skilled at it. Her best skill is at making money (millions) off of her position.

I loved the post from Bowser. While the individuals should never have thought to breach the capital, there should be a FAR better police response. Trump had a huge rally that said, "Stop the Steal".

It was a failure of individual agency (again, they should be prosecuted), collective action (proud boys) and police anticipation, coordination and response.

In the end, the answer is we need strong police protections and more vigorous prosecutions. It's true at the capital, in our cities and at our border.

GTFO.

You're being way too fair minded for this board.. 🖐

I would be careful about reflexsive terminology such as "debunked". For example:

At the behest of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund announced his resignation the following day, effective January 16, 2021.[38]

If she was not in control, how did this happen? So, if it was very clear that there was an Insurrection coming (and by the way, if there was an insurrection and people were so wildly open on social media platforms planning this), why was she not alerted and made provisions. If she did make provisions and McConnell blocked them, so be it.

She, perhaps identical to what happened in the summer, did the minimum to protect our institutions.

And like you, I am no particular fan of Pelosi nor of the right wing firebrands but I am tired of the endless political theater. These people breached the capital in the middle of an election and should be held accountable in a court of law and in our jails.

This hearing either needs to get at a reasonable fact pattern and a deeper understanding or dismissed as political theater. Having four police officers, patriotic Americans to be sure, talk about their feelings on the event does not give us a deeper understanding.
