And so it begins...Ford reverses track, will move new production from Ohio to Mexico

See what voter fraud with the Hillbiller's Dominion machines, and fraudulent mail in voting gets you?

The only cure for the rapidly deteriorating downfall of America is to overturn the FRAUD and throw the senile Beijing Biden and his Ho out of the WH. Then return the actual winner of the 2020 Presidential election to the office. If they wait 4 years to clean out the rampant Pil-low-see led corruption of the Rats, then it will be too late to save the U.S. from the traitorous socialists. CRASH & BURN.... 🤬

Emotions over logical reasoning killed their jobs

Next will be training with fry guy on oil temp and length of cook time. Or... the American tax payer will be paying for the unemployment and benefits as they gear up to make solar panels or learn coding 🤷🏻‍♂️

I understand what you guys are saying.... but I’ll bet you the rank and file of the union local at that auto plant voted at least 60-40 or better for Trump. Now the union leadership is another story and they should be ashamed of their support for Biden.
Are the 60-40 who may have voted for Trump forced to pay union dues? Just a question as I don't know the answer.

My brother, who works a trade career, is union and has told me some stories. Your ratio is correct but the amount of pressure that gets put on the members to vote Democrat is crazy.

Why? These unions never learn. They keep voting for their own demise.

Just remember what the definition of insanity is...
I'll bet there wasn't a whole bunch of rank & file who voted for what Senor Biden promised.

Son-in-law's 1999 Ford HD 350 V-10 went 233,000 miles with unscheduled sensor and heater core replacement. Mobil 1 in the crankcase once a year. Not bad. Good truck.

UAW hierarchy always endorses communism.

That’s what someone who doesn’t understand free markets would say. Do you think the government should dictate where companies operate?
^Village idiot. Providing a cesspool for American companies to operate, you get shit in one hand and unemployment in the other.

Such as?

Companies go to where labor is readily available and costs are low. That’s how the free market operates.

Unless you just prefer to pay higher prices for goods. You must have slept through your Econ classes.

The free market goes to where regulations and taxes are low. You obviously failed to register for your 101 Econ class.
What legislation has changed since Jan 20th?

Which taxes have increased?

In fact, the Stimulus Bill provides many breaks for small businesses.

In fact, the worker protections are much greater in Mexico than in the US. As usual, you are just talking out of your ass with no knowledge of the situation. Typical bean counter who has no real world business experience.

You must have skipped Dr. Boyles tax class as well if you didn’t know US companies are taxed on their worldwide income.

And my Econ classes were graduate school level. Way over your head, obviously.

Of course companies are trying to maximize profits and analzing their costs to do so is a no brainer. So to keep companies to want to stay in the United States is a matter of creating incentives for them to do so. The current reports of this big Biden tax increase including 35 to 40 percent increase on corporations is exactly the boneheaded thing to do to incentivize companies to stay. There was a reason Trump had record unemployment and it wasn't through raising corporate taxes.

Your econ classes are of the same stature as your Ag classes apparently. Ford is planning ahead, Xiden has signaled a hike in corporate taxes. They are planning ahead. Did you sleep through 2016 to 2020? 😂

Dr Boyles either flunked you or you purchased his exams. I'll dumb this down for you with a laymen's understanding from PBS. Or do you consider them fake news because the facts don't fit your narrative?

You must be laughing at yourself since your link confirms what I said. US companies are taxed on their worldwide income. Yes, they can defer those taxes until the monies are repatriated, but they are taxed nonetheless.

We’ll see if Biden raises corporate taxes, which I would be against, but he hasn’t yet.

And I got an A in Dr. Boyles class. I believe i had the highest score but I can’t confirm that.

What part of the article did you not comprehend? US companies go overseas to avoid US taxes?

How did you somehow declare that as a win?😅😂🤣

You opponent claims to have run multiple businesses, and doesn't know when to plant soybeans.

Sarah in Accounts Receivable can confirm the laughter.

Think about it. Manufacturing is an expense. Therefore you would want your expenses where they have the highest tax rates. As it turns out, they do, since Mexico’s Corporate tax rate at 30% is actually HIGHER than the US’s.

So facepalm. Try another one of your silly pictures to try to distract from the fact that you’re

Admit it, you know less than ZERO about international taxation.

I know. My bad. The monkey can barely read, much less comprehend. 🤣
You mean like Ford moving to Mexico because of high US tax rates that are actually lower than Mexico’s?

You’re embarrassing Dr. Boyle.

Why do you guys hate capitalism?
This isn’t necessarily about capitalism, it’s about screwing the American worker. My assumption on why Ford is doing this is the potential raising of the corporate tax rate from 21% to 39%.

Zero chance that happens. No way this move wasn't already planned. And as I already explained, you want your expenses in high tax rate jurisdictions. This was done because of lower labor costs, not taxes.

That’s why I said it was my assumption. I don’t have concrete evidence if raising taxes is the reason but the 18% increase is on the docket with the infrastructure deal.

Let me ask you this, doesn’t a 9% tax decrease and paying lower wages make sense to offset expenses?

Perhaps. But as you showed, their rate is currently 9% higher. I doubt they would be making such a significant move on the assumption it will be 39%. These moves are planned well in advance.

Definitely not disagreeing about the move being pre planned, the timing is interesting.

Simply find a Country that is more friendly to corporations and move your corporate office/operations. No longer a US Corporation. Switzerland would probably be the best choice. Low corproate tax rate.
