Don't think they will, but I hope they put bama 2 and georgia 3. Let them meet in the semi not the champ game.
I think its close to a lock that Bama will play Cincy and Georgia will play Michigan.
If and when the rematch happens, do you guys believe the outcome would be different? Alabama has obviously gotten inside of Georgia's head by now
Haven't really watched Michigan much but Harbaugh's style probably plays into Georgia's hands.

My point exactly. If yesterday taught us all something, it's that Stetson Bennett is NOT that play-making caliber of QB like Bryce Young is. He simply can't make that big throw on 3rd and long in a crunch time game like the SECCG. And Michigan's defense is just as stingy as Georgia's. Just putting that out there.
Then again, you guys could've used people like Meyer or Spurrier......maybe even (ahem) Saban? 1980 was a loooooonnggg time ago😂😅😂😂

I know, as a liber-sorry..."progressive," you probably hate history, but you can either bang you head against the wall and cry about Saban and Alabama and whatever cheating you think might be going on OR, you can enjoy the fact that we're living in a time (just like with Brady and Belicheck) where some all-time greats are doing what they do best.
When we are old, people will still be talking about the era that we live in.
Saban won't live forever. Now he'll probably coach until he's 120 and Brady will get his 15 Super Bowl at 58, and Belicheck will be President by hike also coaching the Patriots and win 3 Super Bowls.
But just enjoy the moment.

You have a chance. Only Bama or UGA are going to win this thing. Michigan can’t throw the ball good enough in order to take advantage of both Bama & UGAs biggest weakness and that is the secondary.
This Georgia team reminds me of the 1996 FSU team, great front 4 but average secondary, and we all saw how that turned out for FSU.
Champ game is on turf in a dome, that is perfect for Bama. What you need is an outdoor game with some elements to have a better chance. Good news is Michigan's 3 yards and a cloud of dust won't work, but Michigan does have a better defense than Bama so it will be a low scoring close game.
That's why elite QBs are the great equalizer. When the defense has no idea where the ball will be thrown, and on a dime, good defenses can be gassed and shredded. Flash back in time to 2020, our defense was REALLY bad. Without Trask we probably lose 5-7 games.
It would kick so much ass if neither Bama nor UGA made the final. However, if UGA makes it, we need Bama to be there.
