in other news, there’s a lot of great ranked matchups today we can watch and discuss.

With games that have already happened and matchups on the way, there are NINE garaunteed top 25 teams that will lose and FOUR of he top 10 have to lose.

Pretty crazy.

Already today we had Virginia Tlose to GTech.

Iowa State is trying to continue their giant beater role against OSU. Tied up 42-42 late in the game.

Up next, the first big top 10 matchup of the day, UGA vs AU.

I'm tuning into OU-TCU. OU is by far my favorite team to watch right now.

I’m going to finish up ISU and OSU.

The Cowboys just took a TD lead with under 4 to go. Definitely time for the Cyclones to answer.

Like Gundy, but y’all about a magical season for a perennial cellar dweller in Iowa State.

Holy Crap.

Brad Nessler took Verne’s job and is turning into him.

He seriously just said “Auburn takes on number one Georgia STATE.”

Next we’ll be calling Fromm David Greene.

Iowa takes an early lead against “undefeated” Wisconsin.

Clemson somehow managed not to score on the opening drive against FSU.

Oklahoma State puts away Iowa State 49-42.

Everything else too early to get a feel for, but it looks like we’re in for a good one in Auburn.

I was meaning to show you this from Lincoln Riley, he's blazing trails.. look at this play design

A triple route concept

Look to the left, you see the deep out? Yeah...that deep out is the start of a Flood Concept. You see the orange route ran by the far right receiver? That my friends is the second half of the flood route.

Then you look at the middle receiver on the left, he's running a shallow route. And you see the tight end on the end line of scrimmage? He's running a dig route. Pairing the Shallow Cross WITH a Flood Concept.

If that wasn't enough (it's never enough). You see the slot receiver running the shallow? And you see the far right receiver running another shallow route? They're creating a mesh pattern, giving us our third option on this play.

You can't defend this. It isn't humanly possible to defend this with any kind of coverage combo. You go Cover 0 or Cover 1? Mesh has you beat. Go Cover 2 or Cover 4? Mesh and Shallow has you beat. Go Cover 3 or Cover 6? Flood Route, got your ass. This play lead to a touchdown.

This isn't even NFL shit, this is beyond NFL shit. This is a brand new passing concept that has never been ran before in any game. He just pulled it out of his ass and it ****ing worked. Give Mayfield the Heisman, give him the ****ing Davey O'Brien, give Lincoln Riley coach of the year, cause this shit is god damn bloody brilliant.

Be interesting to see the RB delay for a potential block then slip through on a seam to give you a final dump off option.

He’ll, do that in that play and he’s probably get 30 yards. If the defenders are trying to defend the other guys, the intermediate middle of the field should be a gaping vagina.

He's young Spurrier man. Just from a pure play design and feel for the game standpoint he and Kingsbury are tops. Holgorson was up there too but he doesn't call plays anymore. Petrino is still up there too but he's not as diverse now that he moved to more option stuff.

Been running this for three years. Except a burst corner instead of a deep out. Great play

I don't see how anyone though msu ever had a chance against urban off a loss

There's this awful michigan state fan that never shuts up on another board.. not a god damn word now

just like the uga fans

And AGAIN...Will Grier just threw a bomb to the endzone to end the half....28-20 WV

You forgot that one of two top 15 teams for some reason

Did I? I didn’t mention it by name because by the time of the thread OSU was destroying them, but I thought I mentioned how many top 25 match ups were garaunteed to lose.

Why the shade?

Auburn has as much talent as anyone in the nation and the defense with it.. I've been saying they were the most slept on alllllll year, their staff has ruined two games for them..

They can play and beat anyone this year

Looking at the 1, 2, 3, 5/6 and 9 teams losing this weekend. Might have a 2007 chaos scenario. Two loss teams get into the playoffs. Who knows. Pretty crazy day.
