I don't think anybody is "for" illegal immigration, in the sense of "oh boy, let's have lots more illegal immigration". If no no other reason than it's chaotic. It's much better to have an orderly influx.

This is not to say that there aren't people who think our posture toward Latin America is too restrictive, or too harsh, or too long a process to get in, or too low of a quota, or too whatever. But that's a desire to change the legal structure of immigration, which is a very different thing from cheering on illegals. No, the bone of contention is what to do with them now that they are here. It's clear that not allowing them to work hasn't been effective, because they are still here and, since they can't work, they are feeding their families any way they can. So now the complaint is they are a drain on the system. SO LET THEM WORK. Hell, REQUIRE THEM TO WORK. We require Americans on welfare to get jobs, why do we have undocumented receiving assistance but not being allowed to work? It makes no sense.

If they pay taxes and are actively trying to gain citizenship im cool...but cross the border legally so we know who you are and how many Non citizens we have.

Anyone not in favor of a Southern Border Wall and a revamp of the current STUPID immigration laws,,,, IS IN FAVOR OF 'OPEN BORDERS' and the continuation of the invading army of illegal criminal aliens. Including the drug cartel operatives, and human trafficking rings, along with gangs like MS-13 thousands that have come here.

I'm in favor of emptying our country of ALL 30+ Million that entered as criminals.

Green Card workers are already allowed to enter and work here, you dumbazz.

Anyone that wants in from ANYWHERE else in the world can do so by the legal process.

EW, in my younger days that kind of a combination wasn't all that bad, if you start off with a 6-pac first.

Went fishing /camping for the weekend one time when I was about 15-16 with my older brother and a friend of his. We got in a hurry to leave and left the shopping bag of food by the front door.

It (the bag of food) was 60 miles away when this news hit us on Friday night at the very remote 'open land' camp site.

The following day when hunger was getting the best of us, we went through the toolbox bolted on my brother's truck bed to see what we could find. All of what we found had been hiding in the bottom of that toolbox, in the Florida heat, for unknown months.

What we found was a half box of stale saltine crackers, several cans of thrift store sardines, and a quarter jar of dried out peanut butter.

We made a meal of crackers with peanut butter and oily sardines as sandwiches.
Thank gawd for the good supply of cold beer to wash it down with.

Later that day, after fishing all night on a full moon, we went in the tent to sleep away the heat of the late morning and early afternoon.

I was bodily picked up and thrown out of the tent after several of those.
They said that it wasn't so much the smell, but the loud noise and my giggling afterwards that was keeping them awake.... They did at least also throw out my blanket and pillow which I put in the truck bed for my very hard and uncomfortable nap...

It was that meal that was at fault I tell ya, it was the meal (and the cheap beer)....
