6.6 million more unemployed

I have a surprise day off. The Waco duplex I'm working on street is closed today for street patching. I have time. The duplex leases April 25.

I feel most sorry for daughter's steak house server's. Their living is tips. I can't wait for a t-bone and awarding a large gratuity.

One little girl asked if she could clean daughter's 6000 sq. ft. house to make some money. She needed to take care of her mother and brother. Kids are open 12-8 for take out only with a special gov small business loan and are losing money. Most employees are on the job. If they follow gov guide lines, the loan will not have to be repaid.

They’ve run out of the special loan money already - the process is a complete cluster frag, and we couldn’t get our application in because the SBA servers have been in constant meltdown since the program started... neither of 2 different banks can get through the gets for us even to apply

Too bad. You should have asked me. I do work with the SBA helping people get loans.

I have plenty of food on hand, and a back room with a full years supply of long term storage food, so I don't need to eat out. That said, I've been doing drive thru at my local BBQ more often, and I tip the window girls like I would have if at a table inside. I always get a big smile and a heartfelt thank-you from them. Doing what I can to help out... :)

2. I have sympathy for the unemployed

A. He is a power hungry autocrat

Folks in the oil patch are used to the boom and bust cycle, and demand will ramp back up.

Be careful kj, be very very careful to avoid the trap of 911 to find out how much money you have or make. That is very important to him. He has already determined that he is smarter than you because he's smarter than all of us. The money is another purity test to determine your worthiness. But he'll be impressed if you can throw in any country club membership.

My economy is like this.

As an adult, I've always had what I needed in this world, family, shelter, food, work.
I continue to have ALL of those things now, and in greater abundance. o_O
Barring some major world disaster, I've planned well enough to have that continue.
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness is all I've ever needed. :cool:

Dick length and total wealth are the kinds of things I leave for the immature to measure and try to brag about.... :rolleyes:

6.6 million jobs PLUS the much larger number coming, sounds like a job loss meltdown.... but those are jobs for businesses recommended or literally forced to close. A lot of those jobs are thereby “suspended” and not lost.

But we won’t have those drops after the April numbers, because the Feds are literally paying the small business payrolls for the next 2 months now

Right....because the other guys didn't have to...Katrina was a cluster, too, but it was a learning experience. And - importantly - it wasn't artificially inflated to cause huge problems for the POTUS, either.

Trump asked Steve Moore and Larry Kudlow to formulate an economic plan to make America great again. State run CNBC tells me we just saw the biggest jobs gains month in U. S. history. Trump seems to know what he's doing.

Sorry, AOC types. Trump did not create the Chinese virus or bad cops. I know this is really hard for you but this is not classical mechanics. Most of us here gets it. This is not hard.
