That was Emory Jones’ completion % vs. U.C.F. His next lowest was 56.7% against South Carolina. He completed almost 64% against Bama. Two things went into it,
He’s not very good and probably afraid to repeat his 3 int. in a half FSU performance. I can’t remember a QB going a whole game that low. We win that game with Kyle Trask. And now he’s talking about staying? If he starts another game for us we are in deep trouble

Well,....of course we win that game with Trask. However, we can't look back on former players in previous seasons like that. You might as well have said that we would win that game with '08 Tebow.

Im not particularly worried if Emory stays because even though Napier has yet to coach a game, I trust him to make better decisions than the ones made earlier. Which, in a sense, is a big testament of how badly things were handled previously.

I hope he moves on. I think that would be better for him if he wants to improve.

He's a 4th year guy, he could be graduating this year, it would be smart to finish his degree then transfer and get into a Master's program. Very doubtful the NFL is in his future, so using football to maximize his education would be a smart move (It's always a smart move, just even smarter for those who have to go get a regular job after college rather than making bazillions in the NFL).

But this is all just straight wind from me, I know nothing about his situation, just giving a scenario where he could decide to withdraw from the portal now but still not be here next year.

I have no idea if he can catch or not but his best case scenario is to change to either RB or WR if he plans to stay at UF.
Well, when the season started I did say that the guy on the roster most like Toney was starting at QB, and our WR corps isn't exactly overstocked with All Americans, so a move to WR could work. He would have to do a crazy amount of catch-up on the fundamentals, but if he can get there, PT is available. Probably not so much at RB, better returning cast there, would be hard to get on the field.

I said pre-bowl that EJ in the portal should not be playing in the bowl.

I'd have liked to see these 2 guys that are not in the portal playing instead.

QB-pp Kitna - HS Sr
Passing - 62.0%, 32 TD's, 3 Ints, L-88, QBR 128.4 -- 10.7 to 1 TD/Int Ratio

QB-dt Rio-Wilson - HS Sr
Passing - 66.7%, 12 TD's, 4 Ints, L-53, QBR 121.6 -- 3 to 1 TD/Int Ratio

Not worried about the W/L in that bowl, and as it turned out, lost anyway.

I agree with this. If a guys not going to be here next year why play? Oh well it doesn’t matter now.

I didn't understand why they didn't get any snaps at all that game. Made zero sense.

Only reason I brought up RB was due to the guy you mentioned. Toney. He lined up some at RB on occasion. I agree though. Good depth at RB. Better fit at WR if he does stay and switched positions.

I said way back when that Driskel should move to TE. He didn't and later transferred to La Tech to continue to play QB. I guess it worked out for him because he had a fairly lengthy NFL career at QB even starting some games. Last I heard he was in talks of moving to TE. Haven't kept up with that though.

Spin: Driskel suffered a fracture collarbone in the Texans' Week 15 game with the Jaguars. It was the former QB's debut playing the TE position

Wow.

I've seen the Jaguars play, they barely tackle, and when they do, it's Charmin soft. Must have run into his own guy or something. Such bad luck for him.

While the Little Loopy Lizzy is just as bright as you've always been, and just as perceptive as I've come to expect....

He said he wants to go to a place that will prepare him for the next level. Unless there is crazy improvement I have a hard time seeing him playing QB in the NFL.

Apparently the game officials can’t see the replay screen any better than they can the action on the field. Referring the UT Purdue game.
I watched a good part of that game. As much as I don't care if an earthquake swallows up Knoxville, that was some pretty horrific officiating. UT got hose bagged something awful.

That was a for sure TD at the end of the Tenn. game but their defense was atrocious. They gave up 8 big plays or more over 20 yards and tackling was terrible to let the tight end score that TD with a little over 4 minutes to go.
