CG1, explain the HS team and star ratings to Little Loopy Lizzy for me.... 😉

And CG1, Danny Wuerffel wasn't a great draft prospect, but he did okay as a college player.

I'm not in the least bit interested in what any Gator player does in the No Fun League draft.
I'm only interested in what they do as Gators....

BTW, the Musclecramp was 3 HC's ago....
And the current defense is Toney's in his system, not Grantham's, and they were/are quality players.

The BUCK stops in the hear and now....
The Musclecramp, the McLame, and Dan are all past history.

Speaking of what a Great HC is. This phrase is traditionally meant to refer to legendary Alabama HC Paul “Bear” Bryant, and the full phrase was that he “could take his’n and beat your’n, then take your’n and beat his’n.” The implication is that he was such a great coach that he could beat any team with any team.

I would say NFL picks generally point to real talent at least for most positions with the exception of QB maybe which has a ton of busts and where they seem to ignore their college play many times due to some physical attributes. As far as us watching the breakdown video of that LSU game was about the worst I have seen I think. The DBs were out of position so many times and giving such huge cushions in coverage it was nuts. You have the blame the coaches some when the players are that lost. Its crazy the lack of discipline we have on this defense.

Because if you're really good in college they draft you to play professionally...the team with the really good players usually wins... real shocker is that Bama has the most players on nfl rosters....Georgia, LSU, Ohio St and Clemson next in line...teams that all have recent national titles....and the current defense is filled with Grantham's players...the fact remains this Gator team has very little talent. You want to win big in college today you need to have better players....it's really not that difficult.

The recruiting on the defensive side of the ball under Mullen has been abysmal as far as how those guys turned out. Somebody posted the defensive players that were recruited under Mullen and many of those guys aren’t even on the team anymore much less contributing. I saw a list somewhere. See if I can find it again

Good call out Paco. What we need is to combine Mullen and Muschamp into one coach.....

I remember being excited about that LB class after such a LB drought under Mac🤣

It would be nice to have Hopper right now but other than that the entire list is pretty “meh”

Oh, I agree. Just funny how sometimes what looks great is really not. That is one thing about Billy, I feel like homework is done. He will have misses but I would bet is % of misses will be the lowest since Urb in his prime
