This, That, & More on a Thursday + Q & A

By the way something I wanted to add - no one is saying UF caught ANY of our rivals on the trail yesterday, clearly not - we inked nine players. We have half of a staff by the way. What it showed me was simple. We have a coach that CAN and WILL take kids Alabama AND Georgia want. I have not been able to say that in years past. Now I can and did and will keep saying it....and he did it without half the coaching staff....Yes, imo we are headed in the right direction for the first time in a long time.....

I will be in this thread all day. I am running out this morning for a couple of hours and will let this thread marinate and circle back and answer any questions you have........I feel so good I might even throw on a Gator shirt up here in enemy territory....Yup, I am...........

Ryan Stamper

obviously wont hang around in Jax now that Urban is out, and had a huge impact on kids when he was in Columbus as assistant athletic director for player development.

He's from Jax so it is home.

We should find a spot for him, if we don't have one already that is unfilled.

(in the back office to be clear, not on the field)

"Working in an off-the-field capacity, Stamper played an integral role in keeping Ohio State's football players on the right path – by aiding them with academics and other non-football concerns – while often serving as a go-to resource for them in a variety of situations. He worked a great deal to distance the program away from being known as a "football factory" by coordinating the Real Life Wednesdays program created during the Meyer tenure that features a job fair, speakers and help creating resumés. He also helped players get internships and build connections with companies who might hire them once their football careers wrapped up."
