Can a player that is officially in the transfer portal still participate in team practice and play in the bowl game?

Another cold start on O shooting almost exclusively from deep the first 2.5 mins. Defense has been good thus far, though.

Wednesday night the new staff took the team plane and they all went home, they are back in the office on Saturday.

Practicing Monday in Gainesville then going to Tampa. Arrive around 5pm. Practice Tuesday, Walk Thru Wednesday, Play Thursday.

New staff will be with the team in Tampa with the old staff, I’m sure the new guys will be at practices watching/observing not exactly sure how that’s going to go though……

i also think we are very close on some news regarding adding an additional player potentially, I’m not 100% sure at this moment but seems we are trending that direction….

It seems as if the kid waited himself out of a spot at Georgia. I know Ohio State is the other school he mentioned a lot in his recruitment. Did he wait himself out of that class too? We had interest early on, Jason can you see us getting back in this recruitment?

Don't think that recruits are the only ones chasing the NIL $$$ right now.

There are STARTERS on every team (including UF) who are being offered big bucks to transfer to other programs.

This is getting crazy and out of hand. There's no way any program can exist if their best players can just leave for $$$ at any time.

Just posting this instead of the other threads for visibility.

I'm sure everyone here is familiar with how Meyer had his "ballers" that were able to get away with anything. Whether it was showing up late, not being disciplined for breaking team rules, or failing drug tests, specific players were protected from suspension and public scorn. This really isn't uncommon in the pro sports world or even other industries for that matter. So it should come as no surprise to you that certain organizations will withhold certain details and protect favorites if it will make everyone look bad. I'd say the general public catches only a whiff of at most 10% of what goes on behind the scenes.

As always, this is the internet and I'm a random guy, so take this with a grain of salt:
Some guy was sloppy and used a certain account in a way he wasn't supposed to for something he wasn't supposed to and that drew the eyes of everyone's favorite people that always come knocking on April 15th.

Also, Nagy is being let go on January 10th so a certain Bear's agent has been putting out feelers for him to stay in the NFL. Failing that, he should end up in Gainesville assuming positive happens with that other guy.
