Just posting this instead of the other threads for visibility.
I'm sure everyone here is familiar with how Meyer had his "ballers" that were able to get away with anything. Whether it was showing up late, not being disciplined for breaking team rules, or failing drug tests, specific players were protected from suspension and public scorn. This really isn't uncommon in the pro sports world or even other industries for that matter. So it should come as no surprise to you that certain organizations will withhold certain details and protect favorites if it will make everyone look bad. I'd say the general public catches only a whiff of at most 10% of what goes on behind the scenes.
As always, this is the internet and I'm a random guy, so take this with a grain of salt:
Some guy was sloppy and used a certain account in a way he wasn't supposed to for something he wasn't supposed to and that drew the eyes of everyone's favorite people that always come knocking on April 15th.
Also, Nagy is being let go on January 10th so a certain Bear's agent has been putting out feelers for him to stay in the NFL. Failing that, he should end up in Gainesville assuming positive happens with that other guy.
