Difference in new staff vs old staff...

My wife works with an analyst’s wife from the prior staff. She has said the difference between the old staff vs new staff is night and day. Basically confirming that the prior staff was very laxed and gave “ the heads up, the piss man is coming”alerts. From what I was told, Billy doesn’t play and there are no warnings or heads up given when the Piss man comes to town. Her co-worker is disappointed they will be leaving Gville and wanted to stay as they have roots here. They will be heading to Oklahoma. Whelp that about sums up my inside information 🤷🏼‍♂️....doubtful we see the team hitting the vape pre game or at halftime anymore. New Sheriff in town. Go Gators.

Why I’ve been on edge today

I apologize if my posts today have been overly critical. That was not my intent. I love the hire, have high hopes, and only have questions about a couple things.

My wife has been pretty sick over the past couple years with a pretty rare autoimmune disease that affects her lungs. It’s been rough but a he’s been doing well. She had trouble breathing and was in the hospital this weekend. Out on Monday. All while we’re on vacation/sabbatical in Florida (we live in Texas). I thought we were past it.

This afternoon we had to put her back in the hospital. She now has Covid pneumonia (despite being vaccinated, before anyone asks) which is bad for her with her lung condition. This has all been very stressful.

I hadn’t been posting much, but on sabbatical I have a ton of free time. Well, today was a bad day to post a ton. LOL

Several asked why I didn’t seem my usual positive self. There you go. Pray for us. It’s hard to explain to young kids why mom is in the hospital. They were traumatized a bit from her first stint where she almost died a year or two back. So just pray for us, and I apologize if I was over the top today. Tomorrow is a new day.

Update on Oklahoma and Texas

The two schools are in the final stages of their financial negotiations to join the SEC starting in the 2023 season. $100M.

SEC will scrap divisions and instead will go with three permanent annual opponents with a 9-game conference schedule.

This partly explains why TAMU has that extra NIL push this recruiting season, because next season they can't differentiate conference-wise from the Longhorns. On our end, we're fortunate our Ops Center is scheduled to be completed over the Summer along with Napier having his army in place.

As always:

Updates on a few new targets…

Kevin Coleman has creeped into the MLL. after discussions last night I am picking him to stick with Miami here until I hear different.

new name to the board thanks to a poster here is Cyrus Moss, DE out of bishop Gorman. He had high interest in uf before but Dan nor Turner ever communicated with him much. We are trying to change that and will keep you posted as thing hopefully progress.

I would expect someone to pop within the next 24-48 hours. He is a transfer, big props to another poster on this site for having inside info on this and providing us with the intel! I hate going out on a limb and putting a time frame on a commit but it feels like it’s going to happen soon

Forgot about David Reese...

I was watching a video that included a breakdown of scholarship players by year, and everything looked relatively in place until I looked at linebackers, and I see that we have rising redshirt senior David Reese. I completely forgot about this dude. Did he even get any snaps in 2021? I suppose he is just buried on the depth chart and not expected to be a contributor, but then it also surprises me that we haven't yet heard his name go into the transfer portal.

Any chance this cat makes an impact next year?
